Incidentally, NI has always celebrated Halloween in preference to 5th November which was historically an English thing.

yeah i totally forgot about my teen years. We would have fireworks. Roman candle fights and good stuff like that

I always thought it was a nationwide event, but apparently just limited to Yorkshire:
Mischief Night is known in Yorkshire as "Mischievous Night" or the shortened "'Chievous Night" "Miggy Night", "Tick-Tack Night", "Corn Night", "Trick Night" or "Micky Night" and is celebrated across Northern England on 4 November the night before Bonfire Night.[11] In some areas of Yorkshire, it is extremely popular among thirteen-year-olds as they believe it to be a sort of "coming of age ceremony" .[12]
In and around the city of Liverpool, Mischief Night is known locally as "Mizzy Night"; trouble spots were being tackled by Merseyside Police in 2015.[13]

Just another day at work this year. I'll bag it up with Easter and birthdays and spend them in Thailand over Christmas.

Glad to see Halloween getting celebrated in Thailand.
It's always been my favorite holiday.
Kids can dress up and be whoever they choose.
    Candy for the reward.
But must admit, when i was a kid, it was a bit rough as we would soap windows, throw hard corn on porches and get into trouble around this holiday. I don't think you see much of that anymore with the kids today. Hard to even get them to go outside.
Young Thai kids yesterday on my soi dressed up like zombies and trying to grab people. Good fun!

In Snake-eyes footsteps ... here is a selection of photos of Halloween festivities from the past few days.
