Or is it just easier to focus efforts on having victims change their behavior instead of the perpetrators.

I don't have all the answers. No-one does.
ive already told you what the answer is you cloth eared loon.

    its population control.

if humans wont control the increase in population by legislation, sterilisation and castration, which obviously they wont, then rest assured nature will.

nature created the planet, and nature will look after it. we humans are dispensable, if as predicted temperatures continue to rise then crops will fail and sea levels will rise causing starvation and catastrophe that will begin to reduce the population, viruses and bacteria will evolve that will cause epidemics that will further deplete humanity and aid nature in restoring the balance necessary to preserve the planet.

we can do nothing to control climate change, we flatter ourselves by thinking that we humans have caused it and that we can control it.

dont worry harry, nature will sort things out. many of us may not be here to see the results, but humans are really not that important in the general scheme of things. thats the big mistake the fools of extinction rebellion and their blinkered acolytes are making. they think they are really important and worthy.

they, and we are not. we are nothing. we are hamstrung by our human emotions, nature is not. the strong will survive, most humans will probably not because in spite of 5G, bmw's, and skyscrapers, we really are not that bright.

    ^^Somewhat less vociferously though apparently.

I’m reminded of an infamous common law judgment — though I forget the case and judge just now — where in summing up the judge stated ‘she was in all senses of the word asking for it’.

’It’ in that instance being a woman was raped and beaten with a piece of wood that had nails protruding from it. Apparently to the judges mind it was her fault and she deserved it for being a women or something so should modify her behaviors — never mind ‘ole mate that raped her. Victim blaming.

And, for all those nay-sayers about plastic straws, they have a lot more uses then drinking with.

Here, a perfectly good Darth Vader* toy has it's light sabre replaced with a drinking straw.

For the Star Wars aficionados, notice that a red straw was used to keep in sync with the movie.

That will probably end up being the effect anyway. The idea is to avoid that.

The earths population is actually predicted to plateau at about 12 billion I think, but I doubt there will be enough to feed that amount except for....

Yes, there was some judge in Scotland who gave a paedophile a light sentence because "he could see what the attraction was" or something.

Thankfully, they booted him out sharpish.

Denialists are the modern version of flat earthers.

i dont deny that temperatures are rising, but i am not convinced that it is solely down to human activity. likewise the extinction of species.

What you are or aren't convinced of is irrelevant because that's shifting the goal posts again: nobody said humans were the sole cause, you said they weren't a cause and the science of the matter says otherwise.

Coles cage eggs are $3.50 a dozen and free range are $4.20

For a mere 5c premium per egg (= 1 baht) you can sleep more soundly at night Dave knowing that your feathered friends are free to establish their pecking order in the manner to which nature accustomed them

Does free range still mean they have unfettered access to the outside world through a hole in the chickenhouse wall big enough for a small chick to squeeze through if they figure out what it is?

That was Judge Pickles in the UK, back in the 80's.
Pickles again courted debate when he advocated leniency in sexual assault cases, describing women defendants' "clever manipulation", dressing in a way "calculated to invite attention" or even "asking for it". Women's groups and certain parts of the press were outraged.
    He was a bit controversial..

Seems "free range" can pretty much mean anything:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free-range_eggs

    For Aussie:

In April 2017, the Australian Government finalised the law and decided to mandate a maximum of 10,000 hens per hectare in outdoor grazing areas, to which the hens must have "regular and meaningful" access

Free range means they get to roam outside typically. Although, there is no organization in the U.S that oversees how long they stay outside and where they roam which is a problem. You always pay more for free range or cage-free eggs.

It appears that MM thinks we have lost our way, steered off-topic ... maybe she didn't like my re-use of a
red straw for a Darth Vader light sabre ... maybe she's not a Star Wars Fan. Dunno

So, just for you MM, here is the latest on Miss Thenberg

Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg told a rally in Denver that young people must be prepared to keep striking to
call for action on climate change - but she's encouraged by those joining the movement. (Oct 11)

The poster can turn off comments, and probably did in this case to prevent the usual torrent of bollocks from retarded old trumpanzees and the like.
