bowie, however, has made disparaging comments about Trump, so my guess is that he's a conservative - nothing wrong with that to a certain degree and certain issues.

As I've said, I have several right-leaning friends who are simply amazed at how utterly bastardised their party has become under Trump and that revolting McConnell . . users and abusers of the system.
They'll not vote Rep next year unless there's an alternative real Republican who can unseat Trump

But, kmart – ‘tis naught more than a citation concerning just how effective the methodology behind our glorious two-party system is.

Human beings are highly competitive by nature, super bowl, world cup, world series, you name it we Compete – and we love to Win, Win, Win.

So, in the US we have 536 elected politicians who are top professionals at playing the two sides against each other. They are the rich – once they get elected they have joined the ranks in the top tier of the economic ladder. They now have control of how the US Taxpayers money is spent. They are in fact the rich telling the poor that the reason they are poor is because of the rich.

Now, the presentation is “we, the good guys, are gonna save you from Satan”, aka the bad guys, or the other side. Republican vs. Democrats – the ads are the same just change the names.

The key to the game is the competitive nature of the human animal. It clouds their vision and reason, as long as they have an identified enemy to blame all the worlds ills on. They have a “purpose” – kill Satan. Dem, Repub, and the Pres (whichever side he, or she eventually, happens to be “with or on”, Devil or Angel, Satan or Savior).

Cracks me up. Europe elections last a couple of months. The US politicians have managed to make elections a year round affair, every year, all year long.

Then I read about a proposed merger between two US Mobile Broadband Providers (Sprint & T-Mobile) which has been put on hold because it would reduce the number of providers from 4 to 3 something which is considered unacceptable from competition point of view..

OK, which radio station has been prank calling Trump?

Trump said his trade negotiators had received two “very good calls” from China on Sunday. But a spokesman for China’s foreign ministry said on Monday that he didn’t know what calls Trump was talking about.

He said Monday that the two sides will begin ‘talking very seriously”, adding that after the calls he believes the Chinese “mean business”.

The Chinese were unaware of any recent conversations.

“I have not heard of the weekend calls mentioned by the United States,” said Geng Shuang, a spokesman for Chinese foreign ministry.
