Decency? Just saw a post that claimed Trump said Biden "could be shot within three weeks" if elected.
Trump Sparks Outrage After Telling Rally Biden Could Be 'Shot' Just '3 Weeks' Into His Presidency
No idea if this is a legitimate source.
^David Corn - Damn. Trump is talking about Biden being assassinated weeks into his presidency. What nut is going to interpret this as an encouragement?: https://twitter.com/DavidCornDC/stat...12564345442304
Video in the link above
Trump would have him assassinated, if he thought he could get away with it. And his base would celebrate over it.
yesterday there was an ABC/washington post poll that had biden up by 17 in WI, which is way outside the recent polling average of +6. this morning a marquette (WI university) poll has biden at a more reasonable +5.
i've been thinking about the trump campaign's october surprise/dirty trick about hunter biden's laptop, and how incredibly cruel and fucked up it is.
for those that don't know, biden's wife and daughter were killed in a car accident decades ago. leaving biden to raise his two young sons, beau and hunter.
beau biden (who followed in his father's footsteps of public service) died of brain cancer 5 years ago.
leaving just hunter.....his mother, sister, and brother all dead.
and now the trump campaign is tearing down hunter in the most humiliating way....naked photos, staged photos with drug paraphernalia, etc...
it's well known that hunter has a troubled history of drug abuse and depression, and the trump campaign is using it as leverage.
these attacks by the trump campaign are designed to distract biden from his campaign because they know how much he cares about his last living son's well being.
i know politics is a dirty game, but this is particularly fucked up.
norton posted earlier in the thread about not having the results for a good while after nov. 3rd.
i'm really hoping that's not the case....florida polling stations close at 7 pm, and they have a history of getting their numbers out quickly....except famously for 2000.
if biden can somehow take florida, it's over.
not that the FL electoral votes would alone be enough, but rather the fact that if he took florida it would indicate the likelihood of a high D turnout in other sunbelt states like GA, NC, and AZ.
fingers fucking crossed.
Mail in ballots. That’s my concern with the Florida vote.
Florida voters have already cast more mail ballots than entire 2016 election: Florida voters have already cast more mail ballots than entire 2016 election
Thousands of mail-in ballots have been initially rejected in Florida.
Those ballots, though, still could be counted if the voters submit an affidavit fixing the issue by Nov. 5.: Sun Sentinel - We are currently unavailable in your region

Bush officially won Florida by 537 votes
Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
Those scatter brain, whimsical republicans , and their lovable hijinks. How can anyone ever be mad at them. they so cute , rolling around and losing things. Almost like baby kittens.
Tucker Carlson Reports He Lost Only Copy of Documents That Nail Biden
Now not only did Carlson lose that cute bowtie he used to wear he lost the only copy of the document that would had nailed Biden.
oh well, Boys will be boy, with their pussy grabbing , document loosing hijinks Ha ha ha ,
Tucker Carlson: We Lost Only Copy of Documents Nailing Biden
The sooner you fall behind, the more time you have to catch up.
The suggestion of a substantial Biden landslide is becoming more apparent -
Time for all those WH criminal/immoral WH cronies to jump ship.
^^ That rates right up there with ‘the dog ate my homework.’
Republicans are such shit fucking liars, especially this one.
Ted Cruz: "To be fair, (Baldy orange cunto) didn't campaign on cutting the debt".
Axios: "He did, he said he was going to eliminate the debt in eight years".
Cruz: Blah blah blah blah blah
What he and the rest of these shitty republicans mean is fuck the deficit and debt if it puts money in their pockets, but they'll whinge like fuck at anyone else doing it to help the people.
This cartoon really nails it (and the video is below).
Another failed attempt at voter suppression from the shitty republicans, although they'll get another chance in Penn.
Supreme Court to Let PA, NC Accept Absentee Ballots After Election Day - The New York TimesSupreme Court Allows Longer Deadlines for Absentee Ballots in Pennsylvania and North Carolina
WASHINGTON — In a pair of decisions welcomed by Democrats, the Supreme Court on Wednesday let election officials in two key battleground states, Pennsylvania and North Carolina, accept absentee ballots for several days after Election Day.
In the Pennsylvania case, the court refused a plea from Republicans in the state that it decide before Election Day whether election officials can continue receiving absentee ballots for three days after Nov. 3.
In the North Carolina case, the court let stand lower court rulings that allowed the state’s board of elections to extend the deadline to nine days after Election Day, up from the three days called for by the state legislature.
The court’s brief orders in the two cases were unsigned. The Pennsylvania order appeared to be unanimous, while the North Carolina one was issued over three noted dissents.
Justice Amy Coney Barrett, who joined the court on Tuesday, did not take part in either case. A court spokeswoman said Justice Barrett had not participated “because of the need for a prompt resolution” and “because she has not had time to fully review the parties’ filings.”
The Pennsylvania and North Carolina cases were the latest examples of the complications that Covid-19 has presented to officials preparing for next week’s election and facing a record-setting number of absentee and mail-in ballots cast by voters eager to avoid voting in person during a pandemic.
Democrats have consistently pushed for more lenient rules when it comes to mail-in ballots and how and when they are counted. Republicans have resisted such changes, with many of them arguing that the relaxed rules could open the process to abuse and fraud. (lying c u n t s - Harry)
Biden maintains polling lead over Trump with five days until Election Day
Key Points
- President Donald Trump is down in the polls against former Vice President Joe Biden.
- Unlike in 2016, the gap doesn’t seem to be closing in the final five days of the 2020 presidential election.
- It’s still possible Trump could pull off an upset. Polls show the candidates neck and neck in a handful of the most crucial battleground states.
President Donald Trump is down in the polls against former Vice President Joe Biden, and unlike in Trump’s 2016 race against Hillary Clinton, the gap doesn’t seem to be closing in the final five days of the 2020 campaign.
At this point in the last election, Clinton’s lead had suddenly shrunk to a near tie with Trump after new revelations about her email server. But now, with Trump no longer a political novelty and in the absence of late-breaking bombshells, Biden’s polling advantage looks far more durable.
Here’s what national polling trackers said Thursday morning:
- The NBC News national polling average had Biden up more than 8 percentage points over Trump, 51.9%-43.7%. That spread, based on an unweighted average of the 10 most recent reliable public opinion polls, is roughly the same size as it was last week.
- The RealClearPolitics general election polling average showed Biden with a 7.5-point lead over Trump — the same gap as from a week prior.
- FiveThirtyEight’s national polling tracker gave Biden a 9-point advantage, 0.9 percentage point lower than where he stood a week earlier. But its models maintained that Biden is heavily favored to win the election.
While the national polls have slightly narrowed in recent weeks, Biden appears poised to hold onto his lead through Election Day next Tuesday. Meanwhile, FiveThirtyEight’s Nate Silver notes that a majority of state polls show Biden’s position improving.
