An interesting Twitter thread by Bill Stepien, Trump's campaign manager, earlier today.
Delusional?

Just to counter the Trump stuff you love to post.
Trump’s Rallies Are Turning Voters Against Him | America 2020 | US News
Not at all David, you are quite attracted to Trump's bullshit and nefarious campaign staff comments. As I said emotions are running high. Cant quite figure out why you like to stoke the fires.
I like Cenk and TYT, he gets quite angry and animated.
Also whatsherface is hot!
9:23pm here in Seattle and I read an article this evening by a local news outlet that said that all the local police and fire departments will be fully mobilized tomorrow with the expectation of possible unrest. I did my part a couple of weeks ago and voted so tomorrow I will just be anticipating the election outcome. As you said emotions are running high.
...
They've been boarding up the businesses all day and fortifying a barricade around the White House, all of which gives the city a bit of an eerie feel.
One historian I spoke with this weekend said the US hasn't seen such a widespread sense of foreboding since the late 60s.
Across party lines and geographic boundaries, I keep hearing one thing: Americans are worried.
Both sides believe their candidate is going to win, but when you ask them how they really feel, they mention
- the shadow of 2016's polling mistakes,
- the confusion over mail-in ballot court decisions,
- the increasingly loud threat of election violence, and
- the feeling like this election isn't going to erase years of growing partisanship,
anyway... it just feels like a lot of uncertainty building on the last nine months of disease, disruption, and unrest.
It feels less like an election than a reckoning over American democracy.
Yes David hence my reaction to your posting of Trump crap. You have no stake in this at all. The comparison to a horse race did not go over well at all mate. I wont read the PM either. Cheers.
Agree. I was there but over time and even having to deal with Tricky Dicky, all got sorted.
"In 1968, the United States was in a state of shock,” he said. “The Vietnam war was going badly, there were racial uprisings and unrest, Dr Martin Luther King was assassinated and then Robert Kennedy, and all of this was coming together in the summer of 68 when it all looked to be going to hell in a hat"

Riots helped elect Nixon in 1968. Can Trump benefit from fear and loathing too? | US news | The Guardian
"Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect,"
The "Trump crap" as you describe it is News, plain old News, nothing more, nothing less.
I have a financial stake in this. When the US Politicians couldn't agree on a 2nd financial stimulus, I changed my 401 into fixed interest and out of international shares. The US Market still has a major impact on world markets.
"The comparison to a horse race" referred to the News cycle in Australia.
About the PM ... up to you.
AO, I understand your passion, your zeal, but there is no need to dump on other Members.
I heard something today - trump and oconnell have appointed 20-25 % of the judiciary in the last 4 years
they fully expect for this election to be decided in the courts and are confident as they have them stacked
^ Watching it now.
EDIT:- Interesting how he said the Court process will role out and this won't be probably decided until Dec/Jan

I stated an opinion I stand by. I take into account you saying you are anti Trump as well. But I still dont like your style on the thread, as you noticed neither does Ray, this affects us much more than you and your pension fund. I have two kids there, and Ray and I believe in democracy.
Much more. Been unable to hug my daughter (pediatrics) for months.

The First Election Day Results Are Already In, Thanks To A Quirky Old Law
Two small rural communities in New Hampshire cast their ballots just after midnight on Tuesday ― and, thanks to a quirk in state election law, they’ve also tallied the vote and released the results.
All five voters in Dixville Notch chose Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden over President Donald Trump.
The first ballot was cast by lifelong Republican Les Otten, who voted for Biden and explained his decision in a video: https://twitter.com/DixvilleVote/sta...06240383381506

Ah, another failed cuckoo strategy. Ain't gonna happen. Even a stacked court will judge the state and only the state is responsible for election laws.
Expect there will be a few vote count challenges but as with the 2 recent ones in Texas, the challenge will fail. I doubt any challenges will reach the supreme court.
Trump is done. He knows it and so does his campaign so all this legal crap is an act of desperation to stoke fear.
