in the most recent CNN poll biden is up by 24 points:
https://www.cnn.com/2019/04/30/polit...nce/index.htmlBiden: 39%
Sanders: 15%
Sen. Elizabeth Warren: 8%
South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg: 7%
Beto O'Rourke: 6%
Sen. Kamala Harris: 5%
The remaining 17 candidates all fell below 2%.
It's a poll of DEMOCRAT candidates you stupid old fool.
FFS.
That puts Biden more than 20 points ahead of his nearest competitor, Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont -- who holds 15% support in the poll -- and roughly 30 points ahead of the next strongest candidate, Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren (8%).
Warren ranks about evenly with South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg (7%), former Texas Rep. Beto O'Rourke (6%) and Sen. Kamala Harris of California (5%), who round out the list of those earning 5% or more in the poll. The remaining 17 candidates tested all held the support of 2% or less.
So in other words you base all your opinions on nothing.Originally Posted by RPETER65

ANOTHER one?
U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet of Colorado, cancer-free, is running for president
Bennet will be the 21st candidate in the largest and most diverse primary race in history
https://www.nytimes.com/2018/12/06/u...president.htmlWhy Run for President? Because Even Losing Has Its Perks
Sometimes, in politics, it’s better to have run and lost than never to have run at all.
That’s important to remember when you start reading all the will-they-won’t-they coverage of the 2020 race. There are lots of reasons to run for president. Not all of them involve actually becoming president.
Candidates run to stay relevant, to build their brands, to get an instant megaphone for pet issues, and to be in the running for other positions — like vice president, or even a cabinet post, should their party win the general election.
Think about where the 2016 Republican primary field ended up. Ben Carson and Rick Perry sit on President Trump’s cabinet. Senators Ted Cruz, Lindsey Graham and Marco Rubio are influential voices in the chamber. Mike Huckabee and Rick Santorum got cable news contracts.
And, of course, to take the fucking piss.

if the dems do cite barr with contempt of congress, it likely ends there....because any enforcement would have to go through the US attorney's office in DC....which reports directly to barr.
they could also have the house sergeant-at-arms detain barr...something that would obviously be a massive escalation and hasn't been done for a very, very long time.
aother option is impeachment....which might kills two birds.....1) shame barr and 2) mollify the progressive base.
Anatomy of a smear: How far-right websites spread a fake story about Pete Buttigieg
