Got to admit that Gordon Brown wins that honour hands down. And for being the worst Chancellor of the Exchequer. He must have had a finger up someones arse?

^I don't recall GB causing anything close to the Brexit mess or devaluing the pound to the same extent or breaking the record for number of defeats in parliament.

That's because you're thick as pig shit, make stuff up and lie. If you view the current state of affairs in the UK with record employment at record levels and the economy chugging along ok along with the deficit having been cut as somehow worse than Gordon Brown crashing the economy and bankrupting the country then you truly are a fruitcake.

    Crashing the economy?

Oh you mean the Global Financial Crisis which effected nearly every western country ...I didn't know GB was responsible for causing that, do you have source for that Buffy?

Was it not your personal hero in your avitar who moved the UK away from manufacturing to instead depend on a highly volatile financial sector?

Obviously you're too young to remember?

The poll, compiled by Prof Kevin Theakston, from the University of Leeds, found that Mr Brown was considered the third worst over the past 65 years.

A poll is all you can come up with?

I don't think anyone of any age remembers that poll.

So in your mind a poll result is more grievous than causing the worst £/$ rate in more than 3 decades, the total mess of Brexit and attaining the greatest number of parliamentary defeats of any PM on record?

Again it's already been explained to you Sir Nigel of Farage has been an MEP for 20 odd years, he has never had a seat in the UK parliament ergo never had a seat to lose in the UK parliament. What exactly is it about this you don't understand? And then you expect me to waste my time explaining to you Gordon Brown bankrupting the country.

I see your point, but dont think Macron has that much influence with Merkel and the rest of the EU, above all with the Italians with whom we almost went to war (they called back their Ambassador), only a few weeks ago

Again it's been explained to you repeatedly Farage has never been an MP in the house of commons, a simple fact you still fail to grasp. Hence he can't have lost a seat he never had. If you still can't understand maybe get a Thai to explain it to you.

It's like getting to the Champions League Final for the first time ..and losing ..then claiming you didn't lose anything because you didn't win it before

You must really be in love with ol Nigel...

Nothing more satisfying than a Brexit Breakfast

Local scrambled eggs, button mushrooms , baby tomatoes, Lincolnshire sausages, 21 day matured Scottish steak and toast.
Could have done with some French fries, Heinz baked beans and Danish bacon. We all have to take a hit

It must be quite frightening for the older shopkeeper British generation to finally realise that they can't bully sovereign nations anymore by wading in & stealing the resources to recover from the monumental mistakes of their toff overlords. To actually see your piss-take of an iron lady fly out to Europe & beg 27 countries for a concession.

It's also a damn shame to see an economic powerhouse destroy themselves from the inside. ICI, BSF & the coal industry. The North East in ruins, the Dagenham car industry in the south, in ruins. Harland and Wolff in Northern Ireland. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...land_and_Wolff.
The North sea oil & gas industry now ran by multi-nationals. The NHS in its last throws, underfunded & neglected an absolute credit to the UK, ruined. All decimated by your own ruling classes & that was just the 80's & the 90's. I'm sure U.K people could inform of more of the industry & socialism that in my mind the U.K wonderfully lead the world after WW2.

To see a Tory government in bed with a political party (DUP) one known to have had proven paramilitary links actually demanding & dictating how one of the singular most important decisions to face Europe since the armistice is worrying & an indicator as to how the UK is heading again inwards towards jingoistic nationalism.

    RIP UK

Anyway back to Brexit, tonight's vote is pointless as it doesn't change the default position that we leave on 29 March whether we have a deal or not. Only way we are still in EU after 29 March is if an extension is agreed everything else is just noise.
