    Le Pen

What would be the effect of a Le Pen win on the future of the EU? I think it's curtains.

Obviously IF she won and IF she manages to pull France from the EU it would leave Germany as the surviving pillar of the EU and put the EU at risk. Both Austria and Netherlands rejected populist candidates in recent elections so expect same to happen to Le Pen.

I don't think it's safe to make such extrapolations after what happened in the US and UK. Her first targets are the Euro and renegotiations, ahead of a possible referendum.

I think the family name carries too much filth for her to get past the post to be honest.

Simply a wolf in sheeps clothing, and most of the French electorate know it.

Except Buttplug. He loves her and dreams of her with a strapon.

The more Le Pen talks about leaving the EU the more votes she loses.

She may not even get through the first round, which was unthinkable just a month or two ago.

Macron is still looking good but nothing is certain.

Would be the perfect scenario Le Pen v Melanchon, 2 anti EU candidates.
But last poll I looked at Melanchon was running in 4th so not much chance of him making the run off although I thought as a rabid left wing nutjob he'd be your candidate of choice.

The BBC have said that she doesn't stand a chance, not charismatic enough for the BBC to like her, too boarish.

That's where the smart money lies and they are correct that Le Pen doesn't stand a chance against Macron in a run off, her only hope is that Melanchon and not Macron made the run off with her. But still on the plus side the anti EU parties candidates are still making gains year on year and it's only a matter of time till they form majorities in many countries unless the EU that doesn't want to reform actually decides it has too before it's too late.

They now have Macron in first with Le Pen second and Melenchon third so no chance of a Le Pen v Melanchon run off, shame... While Macron will easily win the run off it won't be the 65-35% margin that many are predicting, i'll go for 58-42% to Macron.

A very interesting result. France could be in for a big change with the lefty PC brigade getting watered down.

A pro-nationalist government, perhaps? A socialist gov. is going to have to deal with some very serious challenges from the very far right in future. More fuel for a Frexit.

Well Macron eased in front at the polls and it looks like he has pipped Le Pen in the first round. That was a swift rise to popularity for him and he is the one on a roll.

If he wins, that will be a swift kick in the bollocks for Nationalism in France. Thank goodness.

The neanderthal has a point. This is what happens when, in the name of a misguided pity, we give savages the vote. A simple solution, in my opinion, would be to tell the savages and their fellow mud-men that they, as valued citizens, must vote but when they enter they voting booth a qualified volunteer, a veterinary nurse perhaps, or a transsexual Filipino paramedic, secretly seals the entrance and turns the stopcock releasing the gas which frees both society and the lebensunwertes leben voter from their misery. Their flesh could then, perhaps, be flown to Africa to feed the starving, thus providing a use in death for those who were absolutely useless in life.

Most of whom, if they voted, would have backed the PC socialists.

I actually feel sorry for Le Pen after that creepy post. Not much though.
