Putin is terrified of turning him into a martyr however.

    As for...

Either way, your opinion poses even less threat than Navalny.
And going back to the original point, if Navalny poses no threat, why is Vlad trying so hard to crush him and his supporters?

Or better yet why poison him in the first place then? Surely Sabang you are not delusional enough to think that it was not ordered directly from Putin himself.

Why wouldn't he see a professional provocator who takes money and has connections with MI6 as a threat to stability ?

Obviously Navalny doesn't have any confidence in himself if he's meeting MI6 handlers

Sorry, no fucks left to give- I already stated my position, and why. Maybe reread this thread from the beginning. Any links to Craig Murray are particularly interesting.
Maybe, considering you also insinuated yesterday I was a trump supporter, consult your MD- you may have Alzheimers.

So he's got 3.5 years- 2.5 after time served. Perhaps those who care might start a crowdfunding campaign?

Alleged MI6 agent with someone in a video taken 8 years ago.

The Russian chap was talking about getting money from business sources, but the "alleged" MI6 agent didn't agree to give him any funds.

    So, meh.

Anyway, even if it were true, countries spy on each other and Russia are among the very worst for meddling in other countries affairs, the cheeky cnuts.

    So, meh again.

Are you kidding ? The US military wiping out groups of civilians in Iraq is a state secret ? Lol. Assange is a journalist. He is in jail in the UK without charge..

You don't even know why Navalny is going to prison.

Assange is a hacker. He stole state secrets and now he's dealing with the consequences.

Imagine the fucking Proud Boys leader was in Washington DC , with an FSB agent , asking for 10-20 million dollars and help with propaganda.

But hey. Everyone spies on each other har har. Not one fucking shred of actual evidence , like an FSB agent doing anything inside the US , was produced in the whole Russia gate sega

Look at this mental case. Navalny was sentenced to 3.5 years. And the judge allowed his 10 months of house arrest , to count for a whole year in jail.

Navalny got just 10 months under house arrest.. with internet and all the comfort of his home and his wife. And it counted against his sentence

I'm unschooled as to the particulars of this situation. I know little. Just my opinion

Mr. Novalny must have been charged with something. What the hell. Anybody know ?

In order to qualify as a martry one must be popular, I doubt that he is. Show me some proof.

So probably not a martr but possibly somebody with a martyr complex?

    .

I just subscribed to Al Jeevera a couple of hours back. They may have a different perspective. Haven't fololowed that Channel since Thailand.

And remember folks I did preface my comments.

A true diplomat is a person who can tell you to go to hell in such a manner that you will be asking for directions.

^^ Actually Navalny is just another corrupt politician in a corrupt country. His anti-corruption credentials resemble those of the yellow shirts in Thailand. He stands out because of his anti-Putinism, so has been mentored and lionised by the West (and therefore of course is innocent of everything). I suppose the fact he is telegenic and media savvy does no harm either. But as I've pointed out, he would attract something like 3-5% of the national vote in Russia, and many, many Russians have never even heard of him. There are opposition politicians in Russia that would trounce him in any election- to say nothing of Vlad.

He's that rare form of Russian celebrity- more famous in the West than he is in his native Russia. So I really don't see what all the fuss is about. It is interesting that Julian Assange has come up in despatches though, because when it comes down to it, and if you want to ignore his own corruption, that is exactly what he is- a Russian whistleblower. How strange then that Julian is a Villain, but Alex is a Hero.
