Don't see how they really only need to ask one question:
Committee: Did your report fully exonerate president Trump as he has repeatedly claimed it does?
Mueller: No
Committee: K'thanks

snob, you have no fooking clue how your own system works, that's why you live in a basement
It means that Trump wasn’t exonerated as he has repeatedly lied about.Originally Posted by Dragonfly

Him lying on Twitter isn’t the point (though it wasn’t just Twitter).
Again, this doesn’t require any legal training Butters just a rudimentary grasp of logic and common sense.
Fuck me you are an idiot. This comment makes no sense...
Neither of these things can happen with the current state of the DOJ but your comment shows how utterly clueless your are as a grand jury would convene first to decide if there was evidence. If they found that to be the case then there would be trial in the federal district court before it would ever got appealed to an appellate court your moron.
There are over 600 former DOJ prosecutors from both sides of the aisle that agree that your orange god is guilty of multiple felonies. When he loses the election next year he will most likely be charged the day he leaves office.
the televised testimony will be consequential because very few people have read the report......and mueller's report explicitly lays out how trump obstructed justice. for the first time, many americans are going to learn what's actually in the report.
trump understands the power of TV....it will be interesting (and perhaps frightening) to see how he attempts to distract the american public from the testimony on the 17th.
I would expect there would be questions like:
Do you feel that trump would have been indicted for obstruction of justice if he wasn't the president?
Why did you choose not to exonerate the president of criminal acts?
What is the statue of limitations on possible crimes the president committed?
At the end of the day, trump/fox is winning the info war. My guess is Mueller agreed to testify because his message isn't being heard clearly.
"I was a good student. I comprehend very well, OK, better than I think almost anybody," - President Trump comparing his legal knowledge to a Federal judge.
Agree. Just another show to dominate the headlines for a few weeks.
Mueller will say nothing beyond what is said in his report. Clear from day one if any action is to be taken based on tbe report it will have to be a Congressional action. Mueller ain't going to help them.
"Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect,"
Yup, 'tis the DNC's number one talking point. However, been broadcast and headlined just so many times since the "report" (two years in the making) was released. We Can't Hear You!
hmm... no collusion, no impeachment - just what the Hell have we been waiting for?
Now, if the DNC thinks Mueller's testimony is somehow going to swing the publics opinion concerning the oh so anti-climatic results of the two plus year investigation that had every voting citizen hanging on the edge of their seats with clenched fingers, well, no, just ain't gonna happen.
No collusion, no impeachment, and, yes, viewed as "Exoneration".
But it just isn't though: "...if we had confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said so."Originally Posted by bowie

Most people haven't read the report and won't and ahead of the election Trump will be exposed on national television as a liar who hasn't been exonerated (no matter how much Trump and Trumptards obfuscate and ignore the facts).
Even then Trumptards gonna Trumptard.Originally Posted by bsnub

how can Mueller prove something that didn't happen, and make such a statement in his report? if he did, it would have been an opinion
no judge can exonerate someone if they didn't commit a crime in the first place,
logic 101 anti-Trump tards, you are almost as bad as the Trumptards
Trump is guilty of many other things, and sadly nobody is addressing those issues!!!
