The NYT Trump mole is quite amusing, but at the same time demonstrating what's wrong with the current state of affairs in the deep state, basically the POTUS is a stooge and can be easily overridden administratively, and of course a Replican bragging about it like it was the normal thing to do, and the Dems applauding
can you imagine that if Obama had a number of his policies being "administratively" overridden because some in his staff disagree with him on certain topics and there is nothing that Obama could do about it ?
Thank you Trump for outing what's wrong with the administration of the office of the President![]()
disagree, such behaviors would have never be demonstrated in public without the constant help and participation of Trump
He is central to the outing, without him, there wouldn't have been any, and it would have been business as usual
no wonder Obama was such a complete failure, maybe he was overridden too by some kind of internal "resistance"![]()
Mr Earl hacked Dragonfly's account. Nobody else, except Rpeter, could have such convoluted and irrational reasoning supporting orange wanker..

Back to the mole. Pence is the only one that Trump can't fire.
^
he's a shifty opportunist, i'll give you that....but the risk involved is far too high for pence, IMO....if it comes out that he wrote it (and i think the author will be revealed eventually), he's finished in DC and whatever post-VP life he's planning is also in jeopardy.
This shit bird never takes any meeting before 11:30am probably because he is up all night rage tweeting.

Maybe you should reread my post of the article;
a senior official in the Trump administration whose identity is known to us

ACA was gutted, Iran deal was axed, the tax cut got pushed through, trump's served his purpose. Maybe not so much a resistance as the GOP trying to wrestle their party back from the trumpos.
Whoever wrote it is trying to pass himself off as a hero working for the greater good. I'm not buying it. He's spent the past 2 yrs being complicit (or more) in undoing what the prevoius admin did and now he's making a power play by stabbing his boss in the back.
Not the way to do things in a democracy.
as a group, they got what they really wanted (massive tax cut, SCOTUS picks, fed judges, and ridiculous deregulation) but now that they're up for re-election, trump's a clear liability. very few politicians like trump because he's an asshole....and that makes it that much easier to stick the knife in.
btw, two possible names of the op-ed writer: dan coats or larry kudlow. i heard this on a podcast from someone whose opinion i trust---john heilemann.
statement released a few minutes ago:
no ambiguity here, and the inclusion of 'our office' is deliberate."The Vice President puts his name on his Op-Eds. The @nytimes should be ashamed and so should the person who wrote the false, illogical, and gutless op-ed. Our office is above such amateur acts."
— Jarrod Agen, Pence's communications director and deputy chief of staff
I would guess that Pence isn't involved on a day to day basis with trump.
And he is very useful who to blame. It's quite difficult to blame the system - it does not have a name, neither a face.
The POTUS is thrown in the arena of the population. They can shout on him like in the Rome's Colosseum, throw stone on him.
First, he blame his predecessor, then the next one blames again him. And so forth (for over 200 years)...
Had he come out a year ago I'd go along. His timing smells like political maneuvering. This guy and his pals spent the past 2 yrs picking and choosing which of trump's whims to enable and which ones to subvert. Not seeing how that is preferable over the constitutional crisis he claims he saved us all from.
Best thing trump could have done to save his job would have been to not sign the tax cut for another year or so.
