From what accounts I've read of the first tape, it incriminates, not exculpates.

That has to be the stupidest thing I have heard in sometime. Like I said before Mark how would you have handled Crimea and Syria? Arm chair quarterbacking is all well and good on your part but in this case it is just another dumb comment by you. Obama more beholden to Putin than Trump. Something so stupid and absurd it must have come straight from fox news.

I don't think the USA needs to be in NATO or the UN. Let them do their own thing. Make our own alliances and f the rest of em. Someday America will get a candidate that reflects the mood of the people as opposed to the globalists and new world order types. The future is obviously not nationalism but one has to get rid of all the nutters before that would be possible. Everybody over here likes Singapore but the cost was a brutal dictatorship for many years. I lived in Singapore when everybody pissed in the elevators so I've seen the transition.

But regarding the poor, yes some rudimentary health care is available to all but care for major health conditions requiring surgery and expensive drugs are not covered universally.

And just to clarify; When I say Trump is a narcissistic egomaniac, it's not casting hollow insults at him because I despise him. I do despise him, because I honestly believe he has such peronality and psychological flaws. I believe he sincerely thinks he's a genius when in fact he's quite dumb, and he believes he's infallible, which of course he is far from being.

That was my point. The USA could cover everyone with basic health care and let those who are not poor pay for more. The reason they don't is this concept of everyone should have equal everything, housing, healthcare food and so on. And I also like the idea of doctors working hard instead of hardly working. I'm sure you know that you can go to the doctor here at 8 pm and don't need to go to the doctor for most prescriptions. And paying back med school by working for public hospitals is a good thing. No problem getting more doctors and lowering costs in the USA except for the doctors union.

Thailand has a better healthcare system. I've been operated on by both in a number of different hospitals. I've been to 3 public and 2 private hospitals for serious conditions.

I don't see that NATO helps anything. Iran is controlled by Israel, Saudis and US. NK by Trump and Dennis Rodman. I don't see NATO doing anything except wasting money. I used to have a mia noi who was a GS 14 at NATO so I have a little idea what they do. Not to say I'm an expert because I'm not.

Clearly far more than you do? You have no intention to concede anything in a civil debate and rather than do so you via a question call me stupid. Something you have most who dare question the actions of Trump on ignore.

Canada and Mexico were willing to renegotiate trade agreement before the tariffs were announced. Trump rather than start renegotiating decided to bully them with tariffs.

Regarding Bernie support, his objection to NAFTA is changing it to keep companies from moving production to Canada or Mexico with attendant US job losses. This is something he has stated far before Trump was elected. I in no way agree with Bernie because barring private industry to move production to wherever they want is far too much fed interference in private business. Secondly, it will result in higher consumer costs. There is a reason companies move production offshore.

Do you know anything about business? Your posts indicate you are clueless.

Near all of Trump's appearal and campaign merchandise are made outside the US. Better get that fixed there Mark.

No. Iran has been demonised unfairly and words coming out of there misrepresented or, as in the case of NK, are words speaking of retaliation.
It's hardly fair to say it's a threat when the words were in response to a threat.

Perhaps you misunderstood me. You wrote, "Imposing steel and aluminum tariffs on the EU, Canada and Mexico as well will not curb China's behavior. These 3 trading partners impose no tariffs on US products so why antagonize fair trade partners who are in turn retaliating. Talking about silly logic, this tops the list."

From that you seem to think Trump is trying to curb China's behavior and something similar to Canada and EU. I was pointing out the Tariffs were a negotiating tool for NAFTA.

Didn't see that and I find it far more entertaining to watch him troll himself into a corner and then have a little troll meltdown anyways.

Sorry you have had a boring existence. Some of us know interesting people and have been around a bit. To you in your little boring world I'm sure I seem bigger than life. My daughter is a big time film director, my ex wife and her family are friends of the Clinton's. My grandfather was a professional baseball player and my father was an Admiral in the Navy in WWII. I was on the stag line at Henry the tooth's daughter's debut. If you look real hard you might see me in the photo. I went to a high priced prep school and a good university. Why would you insult me? It serves no purpose. You don't know me nor do you have any way of proving or disproving who or what I am. My mistress worked for the Army corps of engineers. She was a big wheel short little lady but the room went quiet when she spoke.

I would think if a person who has had a well traveled interesting life was willing to share some anecdotes from their life that you who have lived in a less interesting way would appreciate the experience. I understand there is a frequent poster here who has never been to Thailand or Asia one would assume people like that would listen closely to the older better educated and traveled generation. I was around the world twice before I turned 22. The experience changed and matured me. I'd listen to the old hands who had fought with the French in Vietnam and I learned a lot.

My point was, before you attacked my credibility, that the lady although she worked hard when in the USA she didn't seem to have a lot of work in Europe but a lot of money, great quarters and a lot of time for travel. Didn't strike me as a very strenuous job for the military.

He has proven clueless in almost every post he makes. In another thread he claimed to be a professor of Economics but his posts in that thread were completely absurd and as usual wrong. Hell some of the things he posted would not have been said by even a first year college student.

However when he is confronted with facts and logic he just ignores the post and changes the topic. It is the same exact thing that Boon Mee used to do. Basically if you just replaced his posts with fox news it would be saying the same thing.

Good that they have you looking in the wrong direction.

The Defense Department’s Inspector General, in a June report, said the Army made $2.8 trillion in wrongful adjustments to accounting entries in one quarter alone in 2015, and $6.5 trillion for the year. Yet the Army lacked receipts and invoices to support those numbers or simply made them up.
