I don't think the USA needs to be in NATO or the UN. Let them do their own thing. Make our own alliances and f the rest of em. And just to clarify; When I say Trump is a narcissistic egomaniac, it's not casting hollow insults at him because I despise him. I do despise him, because I honestly believe he has such peronality and psychological flaws. I believe he sincerely thinks he's a genius when in fact he's quite dumb, and he believes he's infallible, which of course he is far from being.

That was my point. The USA could cover everyone with basic health care and let those who are not poor pay for more. The reason they don't is this concept of everyone should have equal everything, housing, healthcare food and so on. And I also like the idea of doctors working hard instead of hardly working. I'm sure you know that you can go to the doctor here at 8 pm and don't need to go to the doctor for most prescriptions. And paying back med school by working for public hospitals is a good thing. No problem getting more doctors and lowering costs in the USA except for the doctors union.

Thailand has a better healthcare system. I've been operated on by both in a number of different hospitals. I've been to 3 public and 2 private hospitals for serious conditions.

I don't see that NATO helps anything. Iran is controlled by Israel, Saudis and US. NK by Trump and Dennis Rodman. I don't see NATO doing anything except wasting money. I used to have a mia noi who was a GS 14 at NATO so I have a little idea what they do. Not to say I'm an expert because I'm not.

No. Iran has been demonised unfairly and words coming out of there misrepresented or, as in the case of NK, are words speaking of retaliation.

Canada and Mexico were willing to renegotiate trade agreement before the tariffs were announced. Trump rather than start renegotiating decided to bully them with tariffs.

Regarding Bernie support, his objection to NAFTA is changing it to keep companies from moving production to Canada or Mexico with attendant US job losses. This is something he has stated far before Trump was elected. I in no way agree with Bernie because barring private industry to move production to wherever they want is far too much fed interference in private business. Secondly, it will result in higher consumer costs. There is a reason companies move production offshore.

Near all of Trump's appearal and campaign merchandise are made outside the US. Better get that fixed there Mark.

From that you seem to think Trump is trying to curb China's behavior and something similar to Canada and EU. I was pointing out the Tariffs were a negotiating tool for NAFTA.

He has proven clueless in almost every post he makes. In another thread he claimed to be a professor of Economics but his posts in that thread were completely absurd and as usual wrong. Hell some of the things he posted would not have been said by even a first year college student.

However when he is confronted with facts and logic he just ignores the post and changes the topic. It is the same exact thing that Boon Mee used to do. Basically if you just replaced his posts with fox news it would be saying the same thing.
