That sort of comment reminds me of Boon Mee. He'd always claim that someone (usually Ann Coulter or similar talking-head) had 'wound liberals up' and that they were 'seething' etc. etc. And I'd always think to myself 'what liberals are wound up/seething' because, if anything, I find the comments hilarious in their inanity/stupidity/whatever.
