Also, the pressure is taxing him. I think he might resign due to health (or some such excuse. The health excuse would be believable and probably provable).

He made it as Prez, so he's got boasting rights (very important, very,,,terrifically important in the art of the deal. Huge.) for the rest of his life while he conducts his businesses, accompanied by US-paid-for body guards. I think the boasting rights alone will be enough for him to calculate his advantage in business in the future and so he'll pack it in. Nobody believes he's in the job for any high ideals. Well, nobody who doesn't live in a trailer park.

Its an interesting dynamic. On the one hand, the guy clearly hates "losing" and it would bruise his ego to have to leave looking feeble like that. On the other hand, he certainly has shown the ability to cut his losses in the past (the several bankruptcies that stuck
    creditors with his losses).

I don't think its anywhere near bankruptcy time for him in terms of his presidency. He can weather all this pretty easily imho.

Its gonna take more....and more is likely coming. But its gonna take a lot more, and whether that is coming is an open question.

Bullshit..the bankruptcies were something he fought and lost, his losses were court ordered. Have you ever heard trump brag about learning from going bankrupt multiple times?

And what's amazing, simply amazing, nobody has sat down with trump to explain the reality of his actions when he calls people liars.

thank fuck Americans today are enlightened enough to realize that secret communications from the president election's team with the Russians that might have affected the election doesn't seem treasonous.

We're smarter than that. After all, someone like trump would never use every tool he could to win the election...his morals and ethics are beyond reproach, after all.

topper, kushner did that after trump won and it's normal for the incoming president's team to do that.

of course, the mainstream media/deep state are still going after trump to delegitimatize him as they are hillary supporters and want trump to fail.

sununu (chief of staff for bush 1-the smarter one) is still in good form:

Sununu vs. CNN's Camerota On Russia Investigation: "How Much Crow Are You Going To Eat?" | Video | RealClearPolitics

SUNUNU: OK. Can I ask a question? If Mueller comes out and says that my version is correct and yours isn't, how much crow are you going to eat?

    CAMEROTA: Governor, I don't have a version of events. I asked --

CAMEROTA: Governor, we appreciate your perspective, that there's nothing to see here and that the investigation is, I don't know, silly.

SUNUNU: Politically motivated by folks trying to rationalize a horribly run Democratic presidential campaign.

CAMEROTA: Governor John Sununu, thank you very much. Always great to get your perspective.

SUNUNU: Nice to be here, Alisyn.

Meanwhile, back at the circus tent:

One of President Donald Trump’s closest confidants, his personal lawyer Michael Cohen, has now become a focus of the expanding congressional investigation into Russian efforts to influence the 2016 campaign.

Cohen confirmed to ABC News that House and Senate investigators have asked him “to provide information and testimony” about any contacts he had with people connected to the Russian government, but he said he has turned down the invitation.

“I declined the invitation to participate, as the request was poorly phrased, overly broad and not capable of being answered,” Cohen told ABC News in an email Tuesday.

After Cohen rejected the congressional requests for cooperation, the Senate Select Intelligence Committee voted unanimously on Thursday to grant its chairman, Sen. Richard Burr of North Carolina, and ranking Democrat, Sen. Mark Warner of Virginia, blanket authority to issue subpoenas as they deem necessary.

He's not very bright you know.

Mind you, I bet they wouldn't get an answer out of Cohn. He'd fix them with his steely glare and keep his mouth firmly shut.

Ah, ok I didn't know that. Normally filing bankrupcy is an action taken by the creditor to get out of paying money that is owed, I had assumed this was the case with Trump. But I fully admit to not being well versed on the details. Cheers bud!

That requires forethought. It's worse than that - it' s incompetence and stupidity.

Maybe he was referring to that McCarthy woman who plays Sean Spicer on SNL?

The real question that needs to be asked: "When will Spicer quit?" That job is clearly not allowed to be practiced according to the Geneva Convention.
