Trump signals Russia deal and slams 'obsolete' NATO

Trump signals he's ready to lift Russian sanctions and tears into Merkel - CNNPolitics.com

My favorite part of the story...

He [Trump] also reiterated his view that NATO is "obsolete" -- a stance that was endorsed on Monday by the Kremlin.
I wonder why the Russians feel NATO is obsolete?

Can he really provide insurance for everyone that is better and cheaper than obamacare? We will soon find out.
Maybe Mexico will pay for it?

^ as i said this is his first real test. You guys have provided endless chuckles with your seemingly never ending meltdown; i cant wait to see what you snowflakes come up with next.

I do take trump seriously; he spent his own money and is risking his entire business brand in this endevour, not to mention his family will have to live with the consequences of his actions in the WH, he also knows this first demonstration of his policy prowess will set the tone for eveything else he does. He has promised big things, and thats surprising, as to manage expections, you have to under promise and over deliver.

These are big stakes for him, personally and for his presidency, its hard to believe he can pull it off, but his entire candidacy has been one that defies all expections.

Its why i supported him, our politicians are corrupt, delusional, and incompetent; i really want to see what a man who only cares about results can achieve.

Afa hrc is concerned no-one really cares about her anymore, he did the right thing to take her off the agenda, she is just a silly old woman with delusions of grandeur; she will get her comuppance if she is guilty of any crimes, as no-one will be protecting her.

Because its a fuckin misleading statement and almost a flat out lie.

There are NOT 20 million + people that did not have insurance before the ACA, that were miraculously saved by the ACA.

I giant portion of that stupid figure are the people that were forced into the exchange after being fuckin dropped from their plan, or their employers benefits package as the policies became overpriced.

"If you like your plan, you can keep your plan"

"If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor"

Lie of the Year: 'If you like your health care plan, you can keep it' | PolitiFact

So this fall, as cancellation letters were going out to approximately 4 million Americans, the public realized Obama’s breezy assurances were wrong.

Boiling down the complicated health care law to a soundbite proved treacherous, even for its promoter-in-chief. Obama and his team made matters worse, suggesting they had been misunderstood all along. The stunning political uproar led to this: a rare presidential apology.

For all of these reasons, PolitiFact has named "If you like your health care plan, you can keep it," the Lie of the Year for 2013. Readers in a separate online poll overwhelmingly agreed with the choice.
Thats 4 million mofos in 2013 that were pushed onto the exchange, to be counted as "extending coverage to tens of millions" and again thats 2013. It has only gotten worse, and more expensive since then.

And no its not the fuckin 'Republicans fault' either, but I'm sure the Dems will find a way to 'blame republicans' for the shitshow that the ACA is

^^^ Bloomberg absolutely hates Trump. He was determined to run against him if he got nominated (apparently), but changed his mind. Whatever you may think of the man or the campaign, it defied all expectations.

Something is changing. I looked up my news pages this morning, and there was a glaring absence of articles about Trump and the end of times. The Canadian news was back to Hockey...and some stuff about the IMF predictions for economic growth improving through 2017-18. Nothing libtardy at all......have they run out of material already?

Have the libtards finally realized that random thoughts tweeted are not actually policy statements? Has somebody in libtardville finally noticed that businesses of all kinds are now talking about investments and gearing up for expansion and growth....WTF?

Donald has offered the opinion that NATO is "obsolete" That caused an outpouring of shrieking and venting in some quarters. The fact is that it is foking obsolete and has been for years.

That does not mean it needs to be disbanded....it does mean that it needs a major overhaul with a bunch of freeloading states taking on far more responsibility for the costs of their own defense, for starters. Donald will not break up NATO....but that's all the libtards can get out of a word like "obsolete".

Donald also hammered Merkel and the whole "migrant" issue in Europe. Again he is right on the money. The whole thing is a clusterfuck but no libtard politician has the balls to come out and say it. Donald is saying it for them.

Again these are just random thoughts and opinions, not policy statements. He is not the president yet, but he is most likely testing the waters on many levels and on many issues.

It will be interesting to see if the "tweeting" continues after swearing in. Once the actual policy material shows up the libtards may actually have something of substance to freak out over instead of losing their heads over late night tweets that are clearly aimed at stirring their over sensitive natures.

Still waiting for Hollywood to become a ghost town after all the hyper-ventilating celebrities leave.... The circus comes to town in two days.....

A Snowflake Manifesto | john pavlovitz

"Snowflakes are fragile, temporary, inconsequential little things.
They are delicate and brittle and quite harmless—on their own.
But when they begin to attach to other snowflakes, they become stronger, more powerful.
    They become dangerous.
They become a force of freakin’ nature.
Trump lovers like to call his detractors “snowflakes”, as if their feelings are a liability, their passions a reason for embarrassment, their grief a sign of weakness. (The attempted slur is especially ironic, given the absolute historic white fragility of the President-Elect, whose Twitter feed rings like the petulant cries of a perpetually offended middle schooler—but that is neither here nor there.)
    Snowflake?
    Is that all you got?
    I’ll take it.
As a guy who grew-up in Central New York, I spent my entire childhood watching lake-effect snow systems roll in and in the blink of any eye, quickly blanket everything in shimmering, frozen white. I marveled at their ferocity.

I’ve seen snow storms paralyze cities.
I’ve seen them shut down entire parts of the country.
I’ve seen them derail and disrupt everything.
    Snow storms alter the landscape.
    They stop traffic.
    They wreak havoc.

No, one snowflake isn’t likely to make an impact—but I’m betting 65,788,853 can.
I imagine that the shared strength of that many snowflakes is something to be reckoned with. In fact I’m certain that it is. I’ve already seen it happening in the weeks since November 8th; millions of good, compassionate, intelligent people connecting their individual, jagged, beauty into a glorious and forceful response to the hateful environment around them.
Right now a massive, diverse collection of Americans of every faith perspective, every political persuasion, and every walk of life are assembling, and this is why hope isn’t hard to come by these days—because I can feel the weather changing by the minute.
The current climate of bigotry will not stand, because we will alter it. We will change the weather:
We will not allow people to be vilified for their religious traditions.
We will not tolerate the civil rights of any group to be removed.
We will not be divided along lines of color, gender, religion, orientation, or politics.
We will not accept the physically and mentally ill to be left without healthcare.
We will not allow people of color to be discarded by those sworn to protect them.
We will not allow women to be devalued or overlooked with regard to pay, opportunity, or safety.
We will not tolerate elected officials whose allegiances are not with all those they represent.

This is simply the truth. This is the storm that’s gathering. This is the forecast for this nation.
So yes, feel free to call us snowflakes simply because we care deeply, because we feel fully, because we lament the bitterness we’re witnessing. We will gladly wear that title. We’ll revel in it as we gather together.
Because trust me, the coming days will be defined not by the hatred in this land, but by the fierce and loving avalanche that comes against it.
Hang on tight and gird your loins, Donald—winter is coming".

Here is another lie by the mainstream media relating to Trump's tweet, which was a fair comment and a reaction to John Lewis.

1.Lewis made a political comment about Trump not being "legitimate." Fair game.
    2. Trump responded to Lewis' comment. Fair game.

Both comments were fair and John Lewis started it.

    Here are the media headlines:
