This of course casting another light on Israel having taken in 0 registered refugees, they were all unregistered, but neither have the Gulf States, as they don't want to recognize refugee status among Syrian immigrants there.

Also your figure of 800,000 registered Syrian refugees in Jordan is 30% higher than published figures of around 600,000 there.

A Brit that works in Saudi Arabia wouldn't be considered a refugee...but a Syrian might be considered a refugee while working there.
Assuredly the Gulf States took in wealthy Syrian citizens along with professionals (such as doctors , dentists, nurses and pharmacists) and possibly (probably) placed them on their refugee counts.

Israel treats Islamist rebels fighting the secular regime, and takes absolutely no refugees. Compare that to other bordering states. The reasons are political and cynical, not humanitarian.
