Shot him, then pursued him till the fleeing guy crashed.
    I'd say that is murder.
Nope, for a start he didn't kill him- he injured him, with shots to the leg and abdomen. The actual cause of death was a self inflicted gunshot wound.

A title is just a title. The soul of this thread is about gun ownership.... pro-gun / anti-gun.

I'll take your word on it. So the fleeing suspect crashed and then shot himself?

My version of events goes like this, the gunman crashed his truck, and the pursuer then got out of his rides vehicle, and went over and shot the gunman, wounding him, then he took the gun mans pistol and shot him dead. Then he made it look like a suicide.
    Gunman killed himself.

Is there any chance of a candidate for the 2 main parties advocating reform or is the NRA too strong?

Just as well. Apparently if that guy in Mandalay Bay had blow guns he could have killed thousands, seems the only defense against them is a set of rosary beads.

    USA! USA! USA! etc,

A three-year-old toddler allegedly shot and killed their one-year-old sister in a tragic accident in Memphis, Tennessee. Little Robin Keefer was killed after 25-year-old Shawn Moore reportedly put the two children in a bed in which he had been keeping his gun.

Its not a "a tragic accident", its just fucking gross negligence.

The parents should have supplied the one year old with a gun so she could defend herself !

Correct. The only thing that stops a bad toddler with a gun is a good toddler with a gun.

    Here we go again.
Californian shooting: At least five dead

AT LEAST five people were killed and two children wounded Tuesday in a series of shootings that involved a school in rural Northern California.
The shooting broke out at a home in Tehama County and continued at the Rancho Tehama Elementary School, local authorities said.
Assistant Sheriff Phil Johnston told San Francisco news network KCRA that the shooter was killed by police.

Well I never..... is that the sound of justice I hear?

A policeman who injured two black teenagers by firing 16 shots at their car has been jailed for five years for unreasonable use of force.
Marco Proano, 41, shot at the teens in Chicago on December 22, 2013 after he pulled them over for speeding.
Police said at the time that the officer opened fire out of fear that the 'occupants who had been in the vehicle were in a position to sustain great bodily harm.'
They also said that a weapon was recovered at the scene but a family attorney said a pellet gun was recovered and it was never visible or brandished at the officers.
A judge today deemed Proano's use of force excessive and jailed him for five years.
