Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders could easy beat Donald Trump come November, according to a new CNN/ORC poll that pits the Republican front runner against his potential Democratic opponents.

Clinton would beat Trump 52 to 44 percent among registered voters—an improvement of her odds since the last CNN/ORC Poll in January—while Sanders would top Trump 57 to 40 percent.

He has got high unfavourables, so its hardly unexpected, and its partly due to the nature of the nomination process; she should be having a much easier time, and she is detested already.

You see how Sanders dominates everyone? I would only be concerned if he got the nomination.

The simple truth is that no one on these boards will know whether their personal judgement as to who should be POTUS is right or wrong , this can only be really judged 4 years down the line as to to what state the US economy is in . I mean in politics just the same as everything else in life action speaks louder than words , its OK to promise the moon to get elected , however delivering it is quite a different story .

You're right, only in as much as what the President can do is entirely dependent on the state of the Senate and Congress.

That's why the RNC are cacking themselves; Trump will scare people into voting Democrats into the House.

look i wont go into whether trump is a successful businessman or not as we can be at it all day and never come to any agreement.

but as far as his wife is concerned he has picked a winner, previously a model, but in this day and age it wont be viewed that negatively, she studied architecture and speaks 4-5 languages, comes from a good family and never been married before. she is now a beautiful and elegant woman and a mother of a young son, involved in charity work for many years.

trump clearly has a genuine relationship with her and his daughter ivanka, he has said some dodgy things about ivanka, but again you can see they have a genuine loving relationship.

you compare that with the whatever the hell it is, but its clearly fake, relations between the clintons. the guy is a sex pest, you cant tell me that shouldn't have destroyed any kind of real marriage or relationship between the 2.

if they campaign, ivanka and melania will go far in helping trump's unfavourable ratings; bill in contrast will bring so much heat on to shillary they will probably have to lock him in a closet somewhere until the campaign is over.

well its mainly her warmongering i hate, she is a dangerous woman. i find her far more frightening than trump. i don't worry about crazies like cruz as they will never make it to the whitehouse.
