Whatever trip I'm on it has never included being against voter ID laws. I think it would be very incongruent of me to tout Japanese gun laws as some of the best in the world and then say, "But their voter ID laws suck".Quote:

There is enough fraud as it is in many areas - including people voting more than once and illegals voting.
I know people (including my parents) that could actually vote in 2 states b/c of they qualify as residents as both.
As we know in the past (and likely the present):
dead people vote
illegals vote
people vote more than once
ballots are thrown in the garbage
electronic voting fraud has occurred with Diebold E-voting machines
E-voting machines have malfunctioned
Completely untrue and I bet you will come back with some bogus breitfart article telling me otherwise.Quote:

^ If you want to deny the long history of voter suppression and Gerrymandering in the US than that is on you. I posted a thread that I started that documents many Supreme court rulings against the states guilty of gerrymandering almost all of them in red states.
logic is not your strong point I see. Having a national permanent voting ID would make that go away, so it's pretty much an argument for it.Quote:

national voting IDs for everyone with a central office and clear rulebook for including voters, not letting local counties or states organizing it
^ Why do you continue to post in American political threads? You clearly have no idea what you are talking about.
Well no shit dumbass. That is just not the reality. The states run elections not the federal government. They draw the voting boundaries and set the rules. If you would like to learn something you can read this thread below...Quote:

I am losing track of all these investigations going on. Just when you figure one case against Hillary is being explained away...then you got another one popping up.
Yeah, I realize dems don't care....but four years of this krap is going to get old.
Best news will be when she finally just gives up.
^ Most of what you people are pushing is lies and distortion. I do not want a racist, sexist, Islamophobic man destroying my country for the next four years. The fact that this is still a race is showing how sickening you racist southern shitbags are.
Voter suppression: I agree Republicans have tried all sorts of scams to prevent voting. But hardly any of them, if any, involved people with valid IDs showing up at valid polling centers to vote.Quote:

Gerrymandering: Yep, huge problem.
IMHO it's not just an issue of requiring a proper ID for voting. You shouldn't be able to purchase/register a gun without proper ID either.
Then fine don't address the long standing racist bullshit.Quote:

In terms of having a valid ID to vote by 2020 ... What is it that's preventing these people from obtaining proper ID? What could we do to help these people get their IDs?
In China I got a season pass to a waterpark and it had my name and photo on it. Wonder if that would be acceptable.
But seriously, anyone who can't, won't get their shit together to get a photo ID probabaly shouldn't be allowed to vote anyway.
They should go back to the old English system where only landholders/ratepayers are eligible to vote.
Don't U.S. citizens have a social security number that follows them everywhere?
They should just have to show their social security number maybe.
Social security cards don't have a photo. And also resident aliens (green card holders not eligible to vote) have a social security card.Quote:

god you retard, that's exacty my point, have the states let the voting id be run at the federal level, not local levels to stop that kind of manipulation.Quote:

Must admit Snubbie I'm very suspicious (More like intrigued by) of your motives and what it is you're holding back ... It can't be national elections so it's gotta be local elections that concern you (Or both). And it's gotta be the big cities like Seattle and places, like Cleveland, that are blue in the red states for instance. Places that voter fraud could be swept under the rug. Sounds like a possible left wing tactic to counter gerrymandering.
