Why does he get paid in $$$$ ?
BBC Speak , Or A Tax Scam /
He was also selected by Lord Patten as being the best man for the job. If Patten is now suggesting that reform is required within the BBC then he should also be out on his backside.
True Mr lick
If he can,t pickum then how can he oversee reform ,
he has always been an asshole ,
It's not like he was fucking the kids himself is it? He's walked into a shit storm and if I were him I'd have jibbed too. Makes you wonder though what input he had into the Newsnight programme that caused him to go.
input? we will never know
on this forum I remember Patten being quoted " this is his (entwistle.s ) first crisis " ha ha very jocular .
in other words it will soon pass over ,
oh dear
Pigs, snouts and troughs come to mind
Typical lowly paid media whore. Stan O'Neil got a $160 million pay off for running Merrill Lynch into the ground.
Entwhistle was paid to be the fall guy over firstly the canned BBC programme over Savile and to take the rap for letting the Newsnight expose go to air.
He's just a patsy, part of 5the smoke screen being set up around the paedo allegations in UK.
This isn't the first time that the Tory government has been caught out over their strange dealings with the media.
Murdoch's news hounds were onto far more. Rebeka Brooks was well cosy with Cameron, as was Murdoch, and again, the police were implicated in passing or suppressing info illegally.
Rebeka Brooks was also keen on uncovering paedophilia, and she became the fall puppet for Murdoch.
At some point, the establishment paedo ring is not going to be able to keep covering their tracks and someone of note is going to be exposed, well and truly.
This whole deal over Savile and now McAlpine both reek of "cover-up".
Both issues, Lord McAlpine's predicament and Savile's exposure, being contra-distinct to each other are detracting from the real issue lurking below the surface of the published media, and the smokescreen now in operation is just that, a smoke screen.
apparently nobody gets the sack from the BBC.Originally Posted by themanfrommontrose
