Au contraire there Bert. Media Matters is hardly the unbiased source. This incident was supposed to have happened in 1968, and the gay lad was picked on because he had long hair? Didn't almost everyone have long hair in 1968? And are we to believe that the faculty and administrators at such an elite private boarding school would not have questioned a long haired, bleached blonde boy who suddenly showed up in class with a chopped off hair style?

btw, there's something very strange that the Washington Post devotes such immense attention to a high school prank almost half a century old, yet turns a blind eye to the iron curtain of secrecy surrounding all of Barack Obama's life prior to the presidency...

I can't swear to know every word in the Book of Mormon, but I'm pretty sure that when Mitt Romney spouted off the other day about his reverence for the 3,000 year old definition of marriage, nowhere in that definition did it include a man, his wife, and the unnamed other woman who gave birth to their twin sons.

(Well, actually, the only place you would find multiple women mothering the same child is in Mormon tradition.)

But that's exactly what Romney's son Tagg did, he used a surrogate. Even though it's a pretty big no no in Mormonism:

Put aside the fact that in traditional Mormon marriages if one of your wives was infertile you could simply go to one of your other wives. I do find it interesting that Mitt Romney is happy to take potshots at our families while his own family isn't exactly a font of tradition.

Anyway giving someone a haircut is hardly a hate crime. I suppose swirlies and weggies would be considered hate crimes today.

So Romney wanted to be a foking hairdresser, big deal, it means Mitt probably is gay.

perhaps we need to see records of willard's high school behavioral problems....i find his response to this revelation very interesting, "i don't deny it happened, but i don't remember it...i did a lot of stupid things in high school".......seems to me that a bit of digging might bring up more case of abuse, brutality and a sense of entitlement.

I remember those threads on the last election also, Mr. Earl. I was hoping for Obama over the other choice of McCain-Palin - and I'm glad the election turned out as it did.

Just to note, I voted for the Libertarian Presidential candidate last time around and will do the same this time around in 5 1/2 months.
