Iran doesn't want the nukes for Israel, but for the Sunni-Shia conflict. Sunnis already have theirs, and the country that has them has experienced major sectarian strife and a vulnerable Shia population.
Israel has its own nukes and advanced delivery systems. The Iranian leadership are not suicidal. They are fighting the suicidal nutters.
