Have you watched/listened to the Chomsky 9/11 video ..??? I have, and there is no bullying or anything political about anything in it. I've never liked his style either, but this is not about style....but substance. You should try a bit of substance ENT...

Yes I have watched the video, and read or viewed a lot of his other works too, often agree with him, but as Kohler says, Chomski's more or less up his own and big brother's a*se on 9/11,...... being a Jew and all, maybe...

Too bad the august sage has shown his darker side on this issue, as his superciliousness reeks of a species of fascism, and as Kohler points out, his hectoring is close to bullying.

He was a pilot. Got his name from the builder of the LearJet. Did all kinds of things before losing his moxy. He's a bright enough guy who realized that there was an excellent business opportunity in satisfying the lust for X-file style entertainment and secret society type conspiracy stuff. .

Chomsky is no more qualified to judge how the WTC buildings collapsed than a Sunday school teacher.

In the past, Chomsky refused to believe the offiocial line on 9/11, so what made him recant?

His overbearing dismissive attitude towards those who don't believe the government hype by referring to them as "just a few" engineers etc is crass in the extreme, as there are several thousand qualified people in engineering and architecture who describe the collapse of the three towers as demolitions.

He's no scientist, in fact he hasn't a clue about engineering either. He avoided talking about WTC 7 because he didn't have a clue about engineering, simply avoided the topic and openly admitted to not having a clue about the engineering or science involved in the problem, just fobbed off the opinions of others far more qualified than he as something to be disregarded.

No proof, no argument, nothing.

So much for his expert opinion.

There had been rumours and various bits and pieces of intel floating around for ages before 9/11.

The problem was lack of co-ordination and co-operation between different components of the intelligence community. It was not easy to tell which intel was legitimate and which was not. They obviously missed a piece that was pretty important...

That's why the whole thing was reorganized and restructured after the fact.

Do you actually know anything at all about any of this stuff....or do you just hang around calling people liars if they post about something you know fuck all about?

Yes....but I would not describe that as "smelling a rat". It is a publicly and well-acknowledged fact that there was so much foreknowledge about a major incident (quite possibly involving aeroplanes), that the FBI simply could not sort the wheat from the chaff.

I stated that I believed that some people profited from this.

I did not state that I "smelt a rat" in the WAY the whole thing was brought about...eg. building collapse theories, missile into Pentagon, morphing, holograms etc etc.
