How will things change for expats in Thailand after 2015, when ASEAN's full union development comes to fruition?

Different westerners I speak with vary between cynics (nothing will change) and optimists (It'll be brilliant-visas-re entry-inter Asia travel); yet it seems difficult to get genuine, informed opinion in the english press.

Good question, visa runs could get far better, or if a schengen type visa is enacted, potentially worse. China might be the new visa run destination.
