Explosion injures at least six people in Narathiwat
A powerful bomb hidden in a flowerpot near the entrance of a Narathiwat restaurant went off Monday, injuring at least six people in the latest incident of string of violence in the restive region.
The explosive went off at 7:30 pm at the peak hour of the Blue Corner restaurant that is situated on Traipop Road in Narathiwat's Muang district.
The injured were four women, one of whom was the cook, and two men.
Police said they believe bomb was set off remotely by a mobile phone.
