The Most Endearing Thing About Your Present Partner

Having been through three marriages and one term relationship which was not formalised, I have noticed one outstanding quality in my latest marriage...

Knowing that many TDers have had previous partners and are now firmly ensconced in a new relationship I was wondering what do you find about your present partner which you consider special...and which was not a factor in any of your previous relationships...

my question is really directed at permanent partners and not to the fleeting short-time relationships which abound in LOS...

The outstanding quality which I was reflecting upon last night after the light went out in the bedroom, was that our home is filled with laughter...there are only the two of us in this house but I find we often laugh...at things...at each other...I don't know...just lots of laughter...and it's great...

I'm sure my previous wives would be surprised to read this as I have always been a serious kinda guy who spent far too much time working and too little time enjoying the important things...like children for example...

Sadness and guilt.

No significant other at the moment. Don't really miss the grown ups but as you have posted its the kids.
I no longer have communication with mine and i miss them dearly everday

The thing that fills my heart about my girlfriend is she don't mind if I nip off for a short time, now that is true love :)

i left my wife for 2 months earlier this year

came back because i miss the kids.

as it is - the most endearing thing about her is that she is the mother of our children.

she has improved a lot since i gave her that scare anyway. i have finally reclaimed the pants in our relationship

After a string of loud mouthed geeza birds for girlfriends in the UK my current gf is a breath of fresh air.
She is always polite to the extreme and will say "khorp khun ka" in that soft little voice even if i only drop a chunk of ice in her drink.

In a certain way, this is true.
Thai girls have the ability to 'feel' whether you really want to stray or if it is just, well, a man thing and you'll be back...

I like it when my wife lets rip with a smelly one and always warns me with a 'doot men'.

I liked the times when I was carrying one of my sleeping toddlers up and over a footbridge in the blistering heat with sweat pouring down my face and being constantly informed every 2 mins about the current weather conditions being 'Rawn!', as she walks non-chalantly behind me empty-handed.

I like it when I'm horny and she wants to sleep and she tells me she wants me to do it 'quickly'. It's always nice to get feed back from a bed partner as to the speed of one's thrusting that brings the most pleasure.

I like the way she cuddles up to me and sweetly says "Darling, if you have a mia noi you can tell me, no problem". Awww..ain't that nice? If I ever get a mia noi she'll certainly be the first to hear the good news.

I like the lapses of her memory retention abilities like when I tell her to make my breakfast with anything but eggs, because I've been eating eggs with every meal for the past 3 days. Only to be presented ten minutes later with an omelette over rice.
Or telling her to ask my daughter what colour she likes, red or blue because I want to suprise her with a bicycle for her birthday. Only to be told that "she wants a red bicycle for her birthday".

I like it when she thinks she's helping me get in touch with my infeminate side by telling me "Now I have mens, but if you want I can let you have lady-man sex with me".

I liked presenting her one time with a bottle of Channel No5 only to have the sexiest smelling house in her village because she splashed it around everywhere thinking it was a mosquito repellant.

My ex offered me the same opportunity, said I could have short times if I really wanted just don't tell her (?). Well, I thought it was some sort of test and I didn't take the bait. Said "I don't need sex from strangers--I love you!" She just shrugged, but later told me that if I had answered in the affirmative then I woulda been toast.

I have never been married before and apart from 1 long term girlfriend have never really been involved with anyone else so can't really compare. Well the girl I was in a relationship is now a member of AA and has spent time in a mental hospital and my wife is yet to do that so I guess that is a bonus!

Nah seriously, what is most endearing about my wife? Mmmmm there are lots of things, probebly the best is they way she ajusted so quickly to being a mother. Before ours was born she had never had anything to do with them, had never changed a nappy, held a baby etc etc, I on the other hand have been doing it all my life and she was really worried that she was going to be a bad mother! Ha, like a duck to water she was and it is lovely to see!

There are so many other things, great work ethic, a soft heart but at the same time does not suffer fools at all etc etc not to mention that she puts up with me every single day but the mother thing that I first mentioned is what stands out the most.

Many of you people here may think that I am crazy or hen pecked - so be it if you do. However, I think the greatest woman a man can have for a wife is a christian woman. A real christian, one who serves God even before she serves you. Never lies, cheats, steals and always looks out for your best interest. As for children--they are the greatest thing on this earth and my choice/type of wife, IMO, would make the best mother for them.
