I had the UBC silver package and I was pretty strapped for tv to watch, but I drew the line with this show. Nothing to do with what side of the bread she butters, I just found it so annoying with the audience screaming at every little thing - where do they get these people, adverts? "Wanted, hysterical nincompoops who will over-react wildly to just about anything said or done"....And don't get me started on that dancing she does....

^I agree that Oprah is far more annoying than Ellen. Oprah is soooooo full of herself and uses her show as a soapbox to celebrate....herself. A few years ago she was at Hermes in Paris and was escorted out because they were closing. Oprah threw a fit and the authorities had to come and escort her out. She spent an entire show explaining (aka lying) about what happened. It really annoys me how influential she is with middle class housewives. If you look at the audience in the show, most of them are women and are very well dressed. I remember John Stewart was on the show a few years ago and he commented on it: "This is the most employable audience I've ever seen!"
