frank zappa hot rats
it opened many musical doors for me by showing me that good rock is so much more than just a guitar and introducing me to jazz rhythms. i still listen to the album now and it still sounds fresh.
Show your age Pete !
Lonnie Donegan Showcase released 1956 !!!
Not technically or musically the best album but the first album I listened to where the band and audience got together for a real party and Noddy Holder's voice was unbelievable. A great live album and I still listen to it today when I need a lift.

^^ if there was a list of cool rock stars from the day this guy would come dead last.Robert plant lives in my home town back in the U.K and he is still very cool to this day.Noddy is cool.I suppose im talking more about attitude than what they have to say
^ I was one day late in meeting Robert Plant along with Brian May and Roger Taylor from Queen at Rockfield Studio in Wales about 3 years ago.
My mate reckons the 3 of them are cool and very down to earth people when compared to other Rock Stars.
