    frank zappa hot rats

it opened many musical doors for me by showing me that good rock is so much more than just a guitar and introducing me to jazz rhythms. i still listen to the album now and it still sounds fresh.

Not technically or musically the best album but the first album I listened to where the band and audience got together for a real party and Noddy Holder's voice was unbelievable. A great live album and I still listen to it today when I need a lift.

Yes, Don Powel won't go down as the greatest drummer ever but he kept time and thats what drummers done in those days.

I suppose you don't like Charlie Watts either?

^ I was one day late in meeting Robert Plant along with Brian May and Roger Taylor from Queen at Rockfield Studio in Wales about 3 years ago.

My mate reckons the 3 of them are cool and very down to earth people when compared to other Rock Stars.

Just go to his local in Wolverly the West midlands any Friday or Saturday night.
He's always in there,Nobody treats him like a star,They know who he is but
respects the fact that if you turned into a crazy fan he would not turn up again.
