Now, this one might be alien to DJ Pat, but once upon a time, many years ago (about 20) after partying too much around Australia, I arrived in Sydney and booked into a very cheap guesthouse (9 dollars) cause I knew that my money was running low - went to the atm and had a mere 10 dollars to my name, so you know what I did, I was crazy in those days, I went around the guesthouse noticeboards and found a job, started that day and asked to be paid cash at the end of the day (ended up working for this very nice owner for months)... yep, crazy me, I got a job and paid my way!
