Kinokunya in Emporium and that new place. New books from 350B each. Similar prices to what the 2nd hand places sell them for on KSR.
Fuzzy Ken's in Udon Thani. If you dont mind the journey. There's no indexing or cataloguing of any kind, though. Maybe that's why its called Fuzzy Ken's.
No offense, Ken. You are a great bloke, hospitable and always up for a chat.

When I was in Chiang Mai I found a bookstore near to Pornping Tower Hotel, all books 99bht. I picked up Schindler's List.
I noticed a stall on the corner of Sukhumvit soi 4 full of 2nd hand paperbacks. Sorry I didn't ask for price
They're also covered in a few inches of dust like the rest of the place.Quote:

Try Soi Chaiyapoon off Soi Bukaow. The Canterbury Tales Guest House has a good selection of everything that would keep the average Pattaya dweller interested. Loads of True Crime, Sports, Thai themed books. 150-200 baht with the 50 per cent buy back offer.
Does a good breakfast too and has free internet.
