    Christmas Dinner in Phuket?

I've done a couple of searches on line, but it seems difficult to find info. I did find info from 2009 and earlier, and for last year I found some good reviews on Bella Vista restaurant in Kata.

We will be in Phuket from the 17th until the week after New Years, and we would like to go to a Christmas Eve or Christmas buffet dinner. Any reviews or recommendations from anyone who has been to Phuket for Christmas dinner?

Thanks to both of you. I love turkey as I'm from a turkey country, ha ha ha. I'll see if I can get the ads from The Phuket Gazette on line.

Haven't been there in years but at one time was the best in Phuket. Not a fancy restaurant but the turkey dinner is fantastic. They do Christmas and Thanksgiving.

Thanks, Norton. Mid, it's just that we'll be in Phuket for a couple of weeks and during Christmas and we really want to go for a nice Christmas dinner.

How about the Hard Rock? We always eat in every branch we can. It will give the America feel for sure. A bit on the high side but well worth it I am sure. Its in Patong, but what the hell. We have been to BKK, Pattaya, and Bali, in the last 20 months. Always fun.

Mid, I'll check that one out too.

AO, I never thought about The Hard Rock. Good suggestion. Being in Patong isn't an issue, anywhere in Phuket is good. If we do go there, we can take a nice walk through Patong at Christmas and have a good laugh.

Plus drop a bit of cash in the cool gift shop. Over priced but high quality, and a fun thing to buy. A good buddy of mine and roongs spent 400 bucks 15 years ago on a leather jacket. We were in Vegas, and he
she had won big time at the tables. Nothing ostentatious at all.

Thats no joke, just a small HD and globe on the jacket just under the left breast. Shit, on, under, or ?? if its for a woman and she is a good gambler? Breast, boob, tit as well.

    Adios off to dinner.

The Green Man in Chalong used to put on a fun bash over Xmas. They had a slump for the last year or two but I hear they are trying to bounce back this year.

The website is still fubar though, so who knows.

What a drag, Nigel. It would be great if you could come, but the flights will be ridiculous at that time.

Yes ,, only dreaming Natt ,, infact flights generally are getting bloody expensive ,, well the tax this government is taking is , I wanted to go to Florida before I popped me clogs , but Jan wants to go back home to visit Dad next year , which is fair enough so I think she will be going back alone , and hopefully I can work those 2 weeks of my holiday to save up a bit more for next year ,, ( fingers crossed )

Thanks for that, Peter. We've been to Friendship Beach quite a few times and the rooms, the service and the food have always been good.
