I have always carried a wallet and never been robbed. I even lived on Soi Cowboy for a few years and still never got robbed. Some people must have a 'rob me' tattooed on their foreheads.

Not sure Thais think you are the obvious victim marmite, first they have to ignore the "I hate all thai scumbags" printed on your forhead and then they have to be able to reach your pocket

Be that as it may, wallets are statistically a prime target for all pickpockets/robbers all over the world, as gold-chains also are here in Thailand, not wearing any of either reduces your risk however small it is to begin with.

Some idiots put them in the back pocket of their jeans. I have my wallet & phone in the front pocket so they'd have to lift my beer gut out of the way first.

Best deterrent by a country mile , most of the little fucks would not be able to lift the average western Beer gut with out a block and tackle , give up and move on to the much easier Wallet in the back of the jeans ..

I keep my sausages in me pants, my steaks on the Bar-b. There are such things as "Man Purses," in European Fashion. Is that the one you're using these days Larv? To bad BettyBoo isn't allowed to post here he'd have a whole line of Man Purses on screen in seconds along with a poll and matching Speedo's. Hard to hide your dosh in Speedo's however.

Maybe you should extract your head from your arse, and mentally leave that body area for a minute or two, I posted what I do with my money, it's there for everyone who can read to see.
    https://teakdoor.com/2198262-post19.html

And from then on your strange uninvited Gay friend finder probes is .... well just very weird -
    https://teakdoor.com/2198344-post22.html
    https://teakdoor.com/2198411-post26.html
    And again ^

Sorry I'm not on that team, I see you miss bettyboo and some gay photos ?? maybe that is what has brought this on, but kindly take your Aussie sheep-s....... and outback closet homo stuff to someone else that might be interested in your misplaced attention, do try a PM to Butterfly or Socal complete with the above private parts info and your Euro gay Man purse dreams and some of bettyboos speedo photos, well done with coming out and good luck on the other side.

If on the other hand you regret and you wish to go back one day, try Terry 57, he can in a colourful language you might actually be able to grasp, entertain you for hours about why Aussie men should stay away from Man purses, male starfish, shit-sticks and blurter's.

PS - Btw. I'm sure Butterfly has an idea for you where to completely hide a nice thick roll of dosh even when wearing only your speedo's

This is much too obvious for some? I would add, keep 1000 baht notes in shorts "cargo' pockets and the rest in hip pocket. Sometimes in Indo when shopping alone and asked if I wanted to buy something I would fish out my wallet and show it empty to the vendor as a joke. But I think they got the message.
Here I sometimes carry a wallet empty so if ever 'approached" I can simply hand it over"

Im thinking it would have been preferable to post I had been bashed , robbed and probed by a half Ton Samoan woman wearing Batic.

All these penis connotations ..... men in dresses ...handbags and scrotums.
    Never gunna live this down.

Tried to get my two for one deal last nite at Cherngtalay Pizza Comp.
The pretty lass told me she cant search for me without a card number but can make a new one for me free of charge...
    Then ...
    " You have ID card ? "
"No Im sorry that was stolen also but if I bring my Pass....."
" You can search for me if I have ID card ? "
    " Where you make card ..? "
    " I made card in Surin ."
" Is have in Surin ?...I think no have there."
" grrrr not Surin Beach , Talay Surin mai me. I mean in Surin Province , near Burirum roo mai ? "

" You can make card there is better sir"...

Next stop , spicy chicken burger at Maccas. :-(

Not a bad analogy Shaggers. Your credibility would improve if you actually could prove you didn't encourage the LB in the first place. Secondly, saying you've been had by them on an open forum is not the brightest star in the uni.

Perhaps a stay in Patong rather than sheltered Laguna Resorts would enlighten you to the real world of LB's? Try Dangs massage in Chiang Talay.

^ Ill wager you got lots of cred with the real world of LB's Itnt.

Saying you been "had" by them on an open forum might be ok for you on Ladyboy.com.

    "Sheltered Laguna resorts?"
Graciously , after lurking here at TD for 6 years , and posting only in moments of great excitement , or , when its possible within my experience or knowlege to help another poster or posters , I can know a great deal more about you than you do about me Itnt.....

Tis bad enough to get robbed in Patong, even worse to getting robbed by Ladyboys, and very embarrassing to vent it on a public forum.

Most will view it as "fack this dude likes likes a bit of cock" instead of "fack he got robbed again"

^ Ok ... I better expand on events .. ill try not to be too longwinded.

After an hour or so of exchanging pleasantries and buying the three vagabond Lb,s several thousand bahts worth of Spy reds and plates of Kow pad gai med muang ...we adjurned to the most public of areas being the centre of soi opposite bangna ...where carefully , tenderly and with sweaty brow I removed his re-inforced lace panties and gave his cornhole a good rogering , unbeknowns to me his accomplices were removing my pockets contents as I thrust and groped totally incoherant to the goings on around me.

    Are we happy now ?
Now keep that piccie in your head , knock one off and come back when youved removed your wallet and keys from your ringhole .... where you so deftly keep them wandering around Patong.

lived in Phuket over 20 years and NEVER robbed or hassled by ladyboys,
when i did see them i would avoid eye contact and that was it, I wear gold BUT i do NOT get drunk and hang out in the bar area or associate with the low life you seem to prefer.

seems u have tons of bad karma in ur life

^ happy for ya Richard ... you got more probs with 20yo motosai gangsters on your end of the Island.

Erica ... read the OP will ya.

Ive had Lb's approach me in Patong (stop) in the early hrs (stop) at my table in front of chang bar (stop) whilst pissing on with a mate who lived there (stop) at least 4 or 5 times (stop) and theyve gone for my pockets (stop) but unfortunately for them my money was secured (stop) so they got fuck all and were told to fuck off (stop)
HOWEVER ... this time having not been to Patong on the piss (stop) for several years (stop) I was pick-pocketed by one of three lBs as my mate and I walked back to our bikes (stop).
