    Photo Story 3

I've been having some fun with a program called Windows Photo Story 3 that I saw recommended elsewhere.
Basically you link up heap of photos and add a soundtrack and it creates a moving slideshow.
So I've been emailing these creations off to friends and family, receiving rapturous applause with two exceptions, both who claim they get the sound track but the screen remains black.
Purely by coincidence, I'm sure, they both own that piece of junk with the fruit on the cover.
Any suggestions for these losers who are missing out on the cinematic event of the century?
And the end of the fight is a tombstone white with the name of the late deceased,
And the epitaph drear: "A Fool lies here who tried to hustle the East.

There might be other programs around but Photo Story 3 is only for windows - so your observation is very correct!

Found that one: Wondershare Photo Story Platinum 3.1.0 and it says:

make you own photo album for iPod, PSP, Zune, with dazzling themed templates.

That probably will not use MS as OS.

There's a free download, and if they say they charge later - get it from a Torrent site for free!

Maybe if you saved your slideshow in a standard format, your acquaintances using a Mac might enjoy it as well.

I'm sure this extraordinary Microsoft program (which amazes users by doing something Mac users have been able to do since 2002 - and share the slideshows with Windows users. ;-) is capable of allowing you to export its slideshows in multiple formats, that you should be able to specify.

Either pic a format that is more compatible with a regular movie format (MPEG-4, or H.264), or export as a WMV/AVI file, and make sure your Mac using friends install a system plugin called 'flip4Mac' or 'WMV components for QuickTime'. It lets Quicktime play Windows Media files. In addition, make them install another filed called 'Perian' and they should be able to display near damn anything.

DD I looked at downloads and selected one called Prism. I just very satisfactorily converted the 7.9mb file into MPEG and went to email it. It won't go because it's nearly 80mb!!!!!!!!!!!
Any advice... you'll need to really dumb it down if you haven't already worked that out.

matsalleh, I looked at that program but had trouble finding a suitable site to download it from, will try again today or possibly look for a copy on disk in town this week.
