Where's the dotted line?!!!!

There's a problem with my Photoshop since I got my (Mac) laptop back from the shop - before, I would drag on a photo and there would be a line around it which I could use to enlarge, reduce, distort etc... and now I don't have it.

Everything else seems normal but it is imperitive I get this back.

I can type text and move it but before the box would appear when I moved it, now it doesn't.

Could it be something to do with the settings?

Please help - this is bad.

On the tool select the little arrow with the cross. Up on the top just below the menu bar you will see a "show transform controls" check box. Check it and all should be OK.

Probably reloaded Photoshop so some of the defaults were set. You may find other things not quite the same so be prepared to do some more box checking. Your welcome and see you in Huahin.
