I've copied an image to my desktop. Opened it in Photoshop. Changed it to B&W. next thing I want to do is make it opaque. I want to use it as a watermark on a white backround. Ta!

Scrub using Photoshop. It can be done using style sheets.
Mozilla uses the property -moz-opacity:x for transparency, & IE uses filter:alpha(opacity=x).
Just add to the IMG tag & set the value of x, lower the value=more transparency.
