How to avoid being murdered in Pattaya?

Anybody help? To cut a long story short - my ex (bar) girlfriend believed I had recieved a huge amount of cash from WU. That same night virtually every person I had ever met after 7 months living in Pattaya contacted me suggesting we meet up. The same night a girl I had in my hotel with me told me to not go out - particularly on my motorbike - as someone was going to "do the necessary". After throwing the girl who had likely saved my life out of the hotel I began to piece together who had wanted to meet me, where they wanted to meet & the times they wanted to meet & concluded that every one of them knew each other. The worrying thing is that there were as many farang trying to lure me to my unknown fate as well as Thai. I hadn't done any research on mysterious deaths in Pattaya before & simply took the pages of the papers such as Pattaya People as you would the Sun back home & so wasn't aware of what actually went on there. Now I believe a number of farang who own bars in the area, as well as their shady-looking farang friends who drink in them are mixed-up in many of these "motorbike accidents" or "balcony falls" & as every bar owner pays protection to the police I presume this includes protection from proper investigation of their activities. Especialy when the spoils of these dubious goings on are being divided. My question to anybody who may know more of these things than I do is there anything I can do to protect myself from these murdering scumbags, besides tooling myself up & becoming something of a gunfight waiting to happen. Is there anybody I can pay to protect me? A bodyguard? The police? The Russians? Particularly as I'm not 100% sure of who will actually be coming for me. I'm not entirely stupid but I am returning to Pattaya soon & would really like to come back to England alive, preferably without any bullet wounds. Any advice however small would be much appreciated. I know who does know who was targeting me (ex girl, girl who warned me, people who tried to lure me, etc) but the chances of them telling me what's what are zero. It could be a simple Issan girl & her backward boyfriend in which case I assume that would be easy to sort out, or it could be a 20-year plus resident established gangster with half the police on his payroll in which case I might give Pattaya a miss this time around. I feel naming names would be endangering myself even more & bear in mind I may be wrong with some of the facts but does anyone feel I should name the bars in question or the girls who I are involved & where they themselves work? If it stops someone else ending up as I'm afraid I might I guess I'm obliged to. I could give a list of telephone numbers & if anyone finds the same number in their phone, well, at least you know.

Thanks Dog. Good point. But some of these scum scratch a living posting Man Utd shirts home & haven't so much as a pot to piss in. One I know can't even afford to keep a girfriend! I suspect the guy would sell his arse on beach road if there was a market for it. So if the trail leads to some bar girl who should I ask to warn them - or their boyfriend or brother of whoever it turns out to be off (& I mean only warn, I don't want anyone killed).

Why do any of us want to go back to Pattaya? And if the only thing between me & paradise (armed with the knowledge you don't possess about everything on your first trip) is a scatty bar birl surely I can overcome the obstacle.

A German owns a bar with rooms in Pattayaland - 13/3 I think - & a beer bar on the same complex as the police-owned bar at the top of Soi 9. Has many girls & katoeys working for him. Other place is on - forgive the spelling - Soi Chiraproom. Dave do you operate on Soi Buckhau?

One of the girls works the motorbike parking at the entrance to Walking St so it'd be difficult to not be spotted. WU at the top of Soi 3 (nerves kicking in again answering that question - figure why?). Phone no's changed. Think Phuket might be in order. Nobody seems to say where I can buy protection. Taht's sweet, you believe someone is out to take your life yet you are unwilling to take this to it's fullest extent. If you are serious stay the fuck out of Pattaya, even if stand to lose an investment.
You dont knows who doing and who might help, you are a stranger in a strage land. Played with (real) bad-boys before? How do you know if you can get the right someone to dso your warning. Stay away, come back in a year or two. You get some one to "warn" them off and they get even more serious, Then what?
