When he finds a shop I got about 4 vacuum cleaners, 3 lawn mowers and a menagerie of other major electrical appliances to have repaired.

Steptoe and Son would be proud of my missus who will not throw anything away but buys new ones and then leaves me with an overflowing storeroom full of shit.

I just give it all to the repair shop down the street when the wife is at work.

We've come to an understanding that they know I'm never going to pick it up and they can sell it when they've fixed it and if my wife calls them they just say coming soon.
