Laser Tattoo Removal

How much do ya reckon it would cost to remove that tattoo on my ass that seemed like a good idea at the time all those years ago?

I had a stupid homemade one (15th birthday present from a mate) removed at BKK Pattaya hospital a couple of years ago. I think it was about 1500-200 baht a session and I had 4 in total.
Even though the ink was very high up on my shoulder I'm glad it's gone.

I found some info somewhere on the net about an old woman doing laser tattoo removal out of a tattoo shop on 2nd Rd near Kiss (I think!) restaurant for 700baht.

To me that price seems a bit too good to be true, as in lower than I expected (or maybe an old link). So those in the know - is it? Is she likely to know what she's doing? Anyone know if she set fire to anyone's skin?

When I search under tattoo removal on the net the usual suspects are hospitals/clinics/cosmetic surgeons etc.

If you've had a laser tattoo removal perhaps you'd like to comment on how satisfied you are with the result & where you got it done.

The old woman will also laser your eyes and teeth with the same laser
Anything that cheap should be avoided like the plague

Prior to meeting wifey she had a tattoo on her shoulder (a rose) by the local start up guy in Phichit.

Realizing it was shit she opted for removal from a local woman for a cheap price.
The resulting scarring ( supposedly laser done in one treatment) is unfixable. It looks like she has suffered serious burns - plastic surgeon in Oz did not want to attempt to do any remedial work. She now has a raised large rose like a permanent large blister that is flesh coloured.
Beware of the cheap fix.
