    The Priest of Pattaya

Well Pattaya People TV is full of surprises.
I was just about to switch it off 'cause of the doom and gloom (young thai dude assassinated) when on comes this priest being interviewed.

He was a pretty easy-going dude.
It made me chuckle when asked if he gave out guidance and counciling to the local expats.
His response was he did, and it usually involved some poor old boy losing all his money to a thai girl.
They wouldn't want to tell their expat mates about it in case they laughed at him, but they could to a priest!

I thought I might put about it on here in case some poor dudes out there needed some 'spiritual' fortitude in hard times

    His name's Theo Lewis.
Church is on Soi 1, 3rd Road. Sunday hangout is at 3pm with tea, coffee and biscuits.
In his words, if you've attended the mass and fallen asleep, the 3pm meets with tea and coffee will wake you on up again

Perhaps some of the troubled souls on here might want to go?

He is Australian and his faction is Anglican Pentacostal.

If nothing else it can only be hoped a church or two will keep the suicide count down...

That's a nice thought. Must be many, many lonely western souls down in sin city.

Do priests get visas easily? I might become one if I can hang around the action.

Mass and priests? Sounds suspiciously Catholic to me.
