    A Hidden Gem in Nongprue

I was introduced to a genuine hidden gem in Nongprue a few weeks ago, a superb restaurant, called Romanasia. The decor has been extremely well executed in this very pleasant spacious eatery, which has now been up and running for about three months. The food, both European and Thai, from the more than adequate menu, is not only extremely well presented, but absolutely delicious. It might well be worth making a booking, to ensure getting a table, as the popularity of this establishment is on the rise.
The restaurant which is not open on Sundays, is open for both lunch and evening meals, and is run under the friendly proprietorship of Sue and Derek Bryant.
To get to the Romanasia, turn into Soi 6 on Pratamnak Hill, and then take the 9th road on the right, the restaurant is situated on the right hand side, with secured car parking opposite.
    The website is found at:
Welcome to ROMANASIA Restaurant - Bar - Chalets

    Seems a nice find.
Nongprue describes a large area- I live nearly 10 km from there and it's still Nongprue. Might be better described as Pratamnak Hill, Pattaya.

Having previously said that I had been recently introduced to the Romanasia, did not feel it necessary have to make the the statement that "I have no connection with the restaurant other than as an extremely satisfied customer".

    ^Just pulling your leg

We are used to pictures of toilets and short video clips of dirty tiled floors in Kazakstani burger bars from DD for our restaurant reviews.

When I was talking to Sue the other night, I am sure that she told me they were closed on Sundays. It is of course possible, that after a few beers, I got it wrong. If you want Sunday lunch, why not phone and check, if it is open, let me know and we could meet there for a drink and a meal, as Mrs. Boozer loves roast lamb!
