Folks - I need a notary in Pattaya for some banking stuff I need to do outside of Thailand. Standard Who he Is and Where he Lives stuff.

Anyone know of any quick and not extortionate? Special bonus prize if there is one on the dark side....

I don't think there is such a thing. The US embassy does notary stuff that's accepted in Thailand after getting a certified translation from the ministry of foreign affairs, if you're lucky enough to be blessed by being a citizen from the greatest country in North America that doesn't have hockey as it's national sport.

Any lawyer's office should be able to do what you're asking for a minimal fee, even in England when I needed it done only cost £20 although that was 1999.

^^ YEah they do not want it from the embassy as I have a selection of them already, with the most recent one from a few weeks ago. The problem is as far as they are concerned that it would be me scanning and sending it to them (as per their want) so will not accept something I have in my possession and only something direct from the notary itself.

^ Dark side? I have google by the way... but cant find one closer to where I live to avoid faffing around in the pattaya mosh pit tomorrow.
