It's a rather long (and sad, and pathetic) story but, in a nutshell: our friend Seekingasylum here (formerly known as 'thegent') tried to take some sausages into a BKK bar/dining establishment; was denied; threw a tanty and got all shouty on the BTS over it; flounced from the shame and came back in this new guise.

For the sake of accuracy, a concept with which the ANTipodean boy is somewhat unfamiliar, the incident arose when my Thai wife tried to enter an establishment here in Bangkok with some groceries but was prevented from doing so by a monkey on the door who gesticulated with his paws at the sign which stated no food was to be brought in from outside and consumed on the premises. The fact that the items were inedible in their then uncooked state didn't seem to matter to him and he remained impervious to argument.

The rest is history but a theme often returned to by the less imaginative of the fora, particularly the ANTipodean who has only recently been released from jail following a long penance for being a priggish and somewhat tedious arsehole.

One is always amused by them when they herd together like a pack of soi dogs snapping away at their quarry.
