    Mabprachan Mexican Restaurant...

What's it called? Had a take out from there a couple of weeks ago, but now completely forgotten its name. Fiesta? Seems to ring a bell. Arranging to meet someone there and name slipped my mind.

(oh, and Food OK. A little bland. Very small menu)

Review - well, it's not somewhere I would go back to for food alone unless I was being dragged there for (which I am). Can't find a website or menu online - its tiny, and only been open a couple of months.

Food is ok (they use garbage cheese though). The beans were tasteless and the salsa dip sauce was basically very naive. I am going to persevere with it though for a few reasons, most notably that the lady running it is a nice sort and giving it crack. Location is in the same series of shop houses that the Dark Side Bar can be found in.

Have you tried the eggs thing yet AO? I seem to remember reading your yearning for them a while ago. Any good?

So aside from it being tiny, not knowing the name, not knowing where it is and the food being lousy what else do we need to know?

not really - very bland. Take their product home and then spice things up yourself a bit to make it palatable.

Mexican for sure, Thai women make far better chilli Con Carnie than what you get in a restaurant in the U.K
I have happy memories eating in a Chawang Mexican on Kho Samui.

    Cafe De On.

I went there yesterday, and some little pocket rocket called Kat was busy in the Kitchen - waitress doing the cooking basically. Taste wise it has got better. Only down side was the thumper fat bird working table asking if I wanted sexy lady, pointing to some fifty year old stinker loitering outside of the shop housepub next door (same owner perhaps?). I almost puked.

Yep - that's the one. Tucked away. Park infront of the eagles and you will see it. Not sure if it is Lek who manages the place, but she is a cracker - looks about 30 and a beauty.

Anyway, food was OK yesterday. Don't bother with the Chili Chips though. 220 baht for a handful of tortilla chips with a spoon full of crap chili on top is not worth it.

I tried the Mexicano this evening.

OK, first of, I was forced to drink Heinershite !

2nd of, I had to drink 3 Heinershite's whilst I waited for my takeaway food (I was the only customer BTW)

I ordered a lot cos I like to try a bit of everything, all but 2 of the 8 dishes I ordered tasted and looked like shite.

I did notice the eye candy though.

No, I won't be going back.
I would post pictures but life's too short.
