Great stuff Chongers ... pretty hard place to make anything happen unless you've got loads of money to throw around ... SE Asia is a dream in comparison. Good stories for the grandkids, hey?

What a great and informative thread. Sent the link to a friend of mine.
Keep posting pics!
It seems the pics aren't available anymore. Sadly.
The price paid for linking to another site. Shame to see all the work gone. Guess the OP needs to put the pics in the TD gallery and start over.
Well if Chongboy logs into his photobucket account it'll reactivate, maybe DD or mod can send him an email from when he signed up?
His last post was 24-09-2009. Try sending him a PM Wayne.
Happy New Year if anyone is still checking this out. I'm transfering photos to TD so it should be ok after I get through them. But jesus the upload thing in TD is shit! It's going to take ages
And now I can't even see the 'edit' button so have to find out how to do that. 2010 is off with a crap start lol
looks like I can only edit new posts and not the old ones.
I really dont want to delete the whole post and start again
Thanks DD for setting it up so I could finish updating this.
Still a few pics missing so I have to hunt for them.

Great to see the pics back up and thanks for taking the time CB. Awesome stuff!
I can't believe I missed this the first time around - great thread.
I am new to this forum but have to say that the travel tales on Teakdoor are bloody fantastic..I cant stop coming back for more...thanks to the guys who take the time to post them and the great comments with the photos...excellent stuff.
I have done a fair bit of touring around Thailand and now live in a beautiful scenic area in western Issan and already taking it for granted..I feel like a roadtrip and actually capturing it to share on here. Thanks again
I agree with your sentiments young Andy, aside from saying thanks, there's not really much more to say on some of these threads, but I am sure that the authors of the threads like the feedback.

Cheers for the comments Andy, I'm sure everyone who posts these threads appreciates it and actually makes me want to spend more time and effort doing another.
Another great part of this forum is the "building and construction" threads. Full of superb guides and ideas for the rest of us.
