    It's a shame they don't make the roads out of the yellow paint, seems to hold up better

    Tiz a lovely area did whole western border zone from tak to mae hong song many moons ago.
    Mae Sariang a lovely sleepy little place with a few basics ghs back then, great rd trip on motor cycle then Pai, back rds to Fang some pretty rough tracks near Burma border all way to Ma Fa Luang Int Airport in C Rai

    Subsidence due to incessant, heavy rain.

    Nana had several landslides that blocked roads, too.

    I did it the other way, with a visit to the amazing Ban Rak Thai and a stop at that strange little "duty free shop" in Mae Sot.

    Today rain finally stopped. 11 days in a row ranging from. Big downpours to light but ground is saturated.

    Few local washouts but nothing like the pics posted.
