Yeah. They are good units. I have been following their development for a year or so. They had 2 guys on CFmotos win 1 and 2 in 250mile desert race with the same shock set up. The owner and I have become pretty good friends. While I doubt I would enter an official race I do look forward to getting them set up and ride through the mountain trails here. I will also be swapping out the current beadlock wheels back to the ZForce Beadlocks. The compression ring is a bit wider providing better protection from rocks and shit.
So Eddie. How many trailers do you have? How many times have you trailered anything here? Just because you watch videos doesn't mean that every person around here will do a 90 in-between my truck and trailer. Stick with things you know.
Apparently you missed me because you seem to be following me all over the board.
Just sayin.
My wing-wang is bigger than yours.
.....and my Dad can beat up your Dad.
So there.
I miss almost all posters when they go MIA, given that we're all such a friendly group of buddies with interesting different lives.![]()
Obese Brummie bus drivers. Obese Seattle basement dwellers. Leo swilling 7-11 sanwit munching moderators. LSD Dave and of course the bosses of bosses, Grandma Nev. Who wouldn't be missed (no need to answer that)
And a bloke that posts scat photos across numerous Thai forums while pretending to live as Confucius in rural Sukhothai, from his home in Portland.![]()
Thought I would add some pics. Last week or so has been busy as always. Set up my ATV to drive down to Tak and connect with my buddy who rides a KTM dirt bike as he has been to the peak of the tallest mountain in Tak with other riders and I wanted to go on my ATV. I have far more videos than pics but too much work to upload to YT but it was a work out and a helluva a ride. It took nearly an hour to get to the top from the base while covering numerous types of terrains from open trenches and wash outs, big boulders, mud and tight trails along sheer cliffs and at the end torrential rain. One thing is that if you go up, you gotta come down and trekking down isn't much easier for various reasons
About half way up the mountain.
At the peak. 5300 ft up. Temp was about 18c with a nice breeze. Outstanding view.
Cracking pictures them, Stumpy.
The scenery instantly took me back to this trip I did a few years ago.

Not a million miles from where you are, obviously.
After the ride came back and did a service inspection as I beat my ATV up pretty good. All looked good
The clutch looked great as did the belt. I haven't installed the new shocks yet.
After returning, I received some other parts so I am swapping out the factory CF1000 wheels.
The larger Z Force wheels add a wider wheel and I switched to 29" tires for more ground clearance as well. The beadlock ring is much wider to protect the wheel and tire from rocks and punctures. Moonsoon season is coming and more rides to the mountains are planned.
The ATV hobby aside, I still find time to enjoy the relaxing things....
Old fashion by the pool watching the NBA playoffs
Perfect lunch compliments of my lovely wife
And my dogs sure love my lawn after I mow it. Annie seems to run right out and relax. I too love the smell of fresh cut grass.
Do you have an air compressor with you on the trail stumps? Is it onboard? If you do not air down than what is the purpose of the beadlocks?
Nice having you back, seems like you had the TV switched over to the Giants game when you snapped the pic. My Mariners are leading the AL west rn.

Yeah I have a ViAir 12V compressor in the back storage. I also have a full tool set, tire repair kit, fire extinguisher and some basic spare parts just in case. Around here there is no recovery service so you break out in the jungle and you are SOL and have to walk back. I do track all my treks on Wikiloc so I can send back to my wife just in case. As for tire pressure, I set air PSI before I take off based on what I think the terrain will be. Typically I run about 6lbs on terrains I am not familiar with. On more open trails and on and off mud/water, I keep around 10 or so. It handles much better.
Cheers. Jan to the end of March was crazy busy for me. Had to transfer manufacturing and process and scale it to a smaller version to the Czech republic to the main customer who wanted to keep a small pilot line active for RMA and warranty service, then had to sell off the residual capital which was a nightmare here in Thailand due to BOI requirements and asset tax implications. Coupled with that I had to transfer logistics and technical support back to our headquarters in California. I'll tell ya, my last day in March was so nice. Even after giving 3 months notice on retiring it was still a ton of damn work.
I have NBA, NFL and MLB game pass so typically what I do is watch NBA live as most the games tip off around 7am to 8am and I am usually at the pool bar area with my dogs enjoying an OJ or sometimes a cocktail. Then lunch time I watch the Giants play. I have a BT sound system around the area so I can hear the games while I do work and then can hustle over and see what happened. I can do stuff while I watch and listen. Giants are doing much better then I thought they would, albeit their pitching staff is pretty good even though they dropped 3 to the Twins (SMH). Mariners look good. I fully expected the Dodgers to be 35-0 by now with their goliath mega dollar talent team, but they are beatable. The west will be tough with the Dodgers, Padres and Giants...even the Diamondbacks are doing well.
do you keep an ellipsoid valve intake device in your toolkit in case you should ever need to mount a differential unilateral girdle spring so that it will oscillate with the pandametric semi-boloid slots of the nangling pin assembly in order to help eliminate those pesky dingle arm flangebolt separations in the chassis when you hit a kerb.Yeah I have a ViAir 12V compressor in the back storage. I also have a full tool set, tire repair kit, fire extinguisher and some basic spare parts just in case.
i would if i were you.
What a word salad, you sound jealous Tox.
of what exactly? why do you always mention this jealousy thing
if i wanted to go careening around the countryside in one of those lawnmower things there is nothing to stop me going out and and buying one, releasing my inner redneck and taking to the hills
there are hills and open tracks around hua hin, and the yorkshire dales are also blessed with outstanding trails to explore. personally i would rather pack a sandwich and an ordinance survey map and do it on foot.
but stumpy likes his spanners, his location apps, his grommets and his toys so good luck to him. he enjoys it.
life, especially after retirement is about enjoyment. i'm sure you must be counting the days until you can finally put down the bottle of bleach, the deodorant sprays, the mops and buckets and put toilet life behind you.
am i right or am i right?
hey willy, emergency, code brown, faecal spillage in cubicle 4, off you go!!!!
How much are they Stumps. I know you have an expensive taste in gizmos.
I cheaped out on a rechargeable battery powered pump for $30. Great little gizmo. Can blow up 4 car tyres from squat to 36psi before it runs out of puff although it is not the fastest unit on the block.
No stopping off at the massage shop on the way home for Stumpy.
