There are a few nice Mexican eateries around Chiang Mai now.

There are MK and they are quite good. Just had lunch with a visiting colleague about a month ago and it was really good as was the pitcher of Margaritas. . No need to eat Taco Bell. Its crap.

I stop at Taco Bell here and in the states about once a month to pick these up. If no salsa then Taco Tuesday is still okay. Just buy one of their ice teas, not the food. Stroll over to the condiment stand and pick up 25 packets or so.

^ I really like the La Monita salsa. When I am in BKK I stop by, order up 3 or 4 baja style Carnitas tacos and 4 or 5 of their Salsa containers. I was thinking after the MK post and the last time I ate at Taco Bell was about 25+ years ago

Started pouring around 10am this morning and hasn't stopped. Good thing there hasn't been any rogue windstorms blowing shit all over, just heavy constant rain. Perfect to do some shop work and a once over on my ATV. Might grab up my fishing gear and do a mud trek up to the lake tomorrow.

There are 3 Taco bells in Perth and when they opened the first one there was a line 2 miles long to get some I waited until the hype died down . Glad I did Taco Bell.in Oz is shit. I thought that they were OK in the states but haven't been to a Taco Bell since. Not cheap either
. There's a franchise here called Guzman Y Gomez which seem to be doing well.and you can get a beer

Had the pleasure of visiting Stumpy a couple weeks ago. I sat at the table across the pool there having a smoke.

Stumps and missus were fantastic hosts. Had the best kebobs to be found in the LoS accompanied by a very tasty bloody Mary.

Hopefully he and the missus will head our way so they can enjoy some fine Isaan hospitality and cuisine.
