Dogs await at the gate with the ball. Its a good warm up for me. Toss it over the car park and let them go find it.

This morning the Mooban set up a free chest Xray for all. Its linked to the Kho Kha hospital. We just showed our ID and in and out. Was good to sit with some of the neighbors albeit this morning it was 11c so most were freezing.

I think winter is about outta here. This morning was 18c and hit 31c around 2pm.

Got my Sensurround speaker set up installed just in time for the NFL playoffs. I watched the NCAAF Championship game this morning while I did a few meetings at the pool bar.

Had a short family meeting before we went off on our play ball exercise in the back forty. I told them they have a new sister coming next week and they need to show her the ropes.

Spent the afternoon doing a back forty clean up and tree trim with the wife....and of course the dogs. I had to throw the ball out front to get them to let me rake the branches and keep Annie from jumping in the lotus flower pots.

Actually Joe, I was holding the ball we play fetch with. I hurl it from the pool area over the car park roof out into the back forty area and they go retrieve it. It's funny in that Judy is the fastest and always gets the ball first. She gives it to Sandy and on the run back Annie steals it from her. I should video it. Also to Note. Judy is a cheater. She doesn't always return back to me. She pretends like she won't play then when I toss it she gets it. Smart Dog.

So my wife and the Thai lifestyle was out working in her lotus pot area with flip flops and got stung by a huge black King Scorpion. I heard her scream in pain and I was on the other side of the property and ran to see what's up as the dogs were going crazy by her.

Didn't take long, by the time we got to the hospital (8 minutes on the scooter), it was throbbing and was bleeding from the sting wound. They gave her 5 shots of anti venom by her toe and top of foot and a dose of medicine. Should hurt like a MF tonight.

    Just another fun filled day.

Holy shit! Did you squash it? I hate to say it, but better her than the dogs. It could have been fatal for one of them. She has antivenom.

Hope she recovers quickly. She should as it smarts but not much worse than a bee sting.

Yeah I killed it ( wearing shoes as I always do here ). These scorpions are pretty common but do pack a wallop on venom. This is why I ALWAYS wear gloves and shoes when working around the place. Wife hobbling round the place right now. Just gave her some Advil I brought from the US. I asked her if she wanted a knock of some Blanton's and she declined, so I did for her..

Thanks Norts. She seems to be a bit allergic to the venom. It stung her pretty good. Like any sting, it is always about the person and reaction. Like me with bees and wasps and hornets. It hurts but no reaction.

Yeah, allergic reaction can be severe. She will be out in a couple days all recovered.

Yep. I just laugh. Its our life here. I didn't even say anything about shoes while working in the garden. Pointless. In fact the other day my FIL dropped a brick he was carrying on his toes. Yep.... flip flops. Gonna lose a nail and has a big bruise.

Yuck. The only bugs I eat come out of the ocean. Had a wonderful couple of Dungeness crabs the other day.

I love that Lake Shy Guava. Is that the lake where you can rent houseboats? That looks like a cove on it. I forgot the name of it. Haven't been in 4 or so years.

    GREAT pic

edit, I remember after I posted it. Kiew Lom Dam?

Kew Lom is correct. Be a great place to practise "carrier" landings with your drone.

You know SG, that lake is such a hidden treasure and really beautiful. Take a little boat ride or rent a house boat for the day. My wife and I stayed at the resort that you can only get to by boat. Was a cool little place.

Cheers and thanks for the pic and reminder. Need to go back for a trip and some fun.

If I was more than an average dog lover, these are the variety that could be appreciated.
    Well done, Stump.
    Keep it up.
