Last few pics. Job complete. Today was a group painting day. Made it quick.
Before I built my pool. I had a Lao style Hut ( sala).with a spa tub. The spa got sold and the hut stayed in my driveway until.the pool was completed then we moved it near the pool. The problem was with a salt water pool.the corrosion on the steel.legs was happening at a rapid pace to the point I was thinking the fucker might fall over. It was probably at least 1 tonne of weight. Before I left lao I had a come over and brick around the poles . Hopefully that should stop it. Got some pics somewhere
The sala on the left. Didn't do the other 2 poles
A bit of both
After a very nice summer storm blew through, it cleaned up everything. We got about 2" (50mm) of rain so it knocked the dust down and seemed to put out all the mountain fires and the temp today is 29c.
The whipping winds did make a mess of the property so I was up early cleaning up the debris.
LiL watch pic...... That said, those numbers are pretty much a daily deal. Usually hit 18K plus steps every day with a heart rate range 110 to 150 and 200+ a day active minutes.
Beauty day and the plants loved the heavy rain.
With the weather cooler I spent time rewiring and relocating the CCTV that was on the pool bar original roof line.
About to pull up a chair and enjoy a beer.
As they say, they being the medical community, that all you really need to do to retain good health is complete 1 hr of physical activity a day, whatever it is as long as it elevates and cycles your heart, respiratory and circulatory system.
I enjoy getting up every morning around 5:30ish. Knock back a glass of fresh OJ and get on about my morning. There is always something to do. My motivation is to remain med free and burn calories so I can enjoy more Bevvys.
Life is good.
Well so much for retirement life. Last 3.5 weeks have been whack-a-mole busy and will only get busier in the coming months which is why I haven't been posting at all. Current company I work for is phasing out the Gen1 product here in Thailand and moving almost all the equipment to Japan to the Shizuoka prefecture for the launch of Gen2. I am coordinating all the manufacturing stoppage and equipment transition activities here. Some equipment for Gen 2 and Gen 3 development will be shipped back to the US with a few just moving over to Chachensao. Lot of work getting it all decommissioned, crated and shipped. Upside though for now I still work from home 100% but will have to visit CB next month to confirm all equipment shipments.
Along with that bit of fun, a long time colleague friend contacted me who has joined a US company that wants to move its operations out of Mexico to Thailand. The first kick of meeting with the companies executive team is mid June in BKK. Not sure where this will all go.
Short of that it has been hot as hell here with marginal to piss poor air quality. We got a nice rain storm last night but really didn't do much in cooling it off, just made it humid. Thank God my uncle and I got the pool cover extension done when I did as the pool now stays far cooler and its nice to swim out in the sun and back to the shade.
Cheers
Welcome back Stumpy!!!!!!!!!!
